Played your game, loved it! Probably will come back. I made a similar game last mini jam I joined :-) Reminds me of Bloodthief. Anyway here is a 10 minute video of me failing at the game haha :D

Neat game! Looks very good and nice concept! As others pointed out, the controls were a bit hard to get used to (high sensitivity of the mouse).

Submitted(+1)

Oh my gosh the mouse!!!!!! WAY TO SENTSITIVE!!!!!!!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, I do apologize for the sensitivity😅, I should've looked at that before the jam ended but I didn't get time to playtest so I do apologize.

I tried the game, reminds me of bloodthief mechanically, it was fun and the theme is funny but as a parkour game enjoyer myself i need to point out some flaws of the game.

Running should be the default speed, the slam should not remove all your momentum or at least it should let you control it as it is very easy to fall into a pit, there doesn't seem to be any coyote time to help you jump off ledges, and you can wall run multiple times on the same wall.

Aside from that the game could use some QoL like auto attacking when rushing, ignoring the enemies debris collision and some game settings.

The base is there, although polishing these kind of games is quite difficult it can make them very enjoyable.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for this feedback, this is really valuable. I'll be honest I thought coyote time was a 2D thing only, but I'll keep this in mind, this was my first time creating a 3D movement based game😅. Also all the other QoL features (especially the debris collision, for some reason i couldn't fix that so I had to leave it) you mention are really good points and I think it'll make this game a lot better so thank you so much for pointing all this out.

This game seemed very hard to me and sometimes I felt as if my jump input was ignored (but this could be me being bad). I enjoyed the theming and thought the idea was interesting. Nice job!

Developer

Yeah the jump input is probably because of Coyote time like another comment mentioned, so I do apologize for that😅. I will keep this in mind for the next movement based game I made, thank you :D

Nice one! Need more games like ghostrunner

Developer

Yesss I agree, that's why I made this :D

Submitted(+1)

I tried it yesterday but now gave it another shot. I like the game in concept, but I'm either really bad at it or the sensitivity is very system dependent. I could reach the first coffee only 2 times, and both time I got reset to the start. I think I'm missing something there :D
Nice job on finishing the jam on only 6 coockies! That's impressive :D

Developer

It's okay i completely understand, if I'm being honest I couldn't get any playtests during this short timeframe and I think if I did I could've made this tutorial a lot easier, and just the wall running in general. You're not missing anything here I just didn't get the right difficulty😅. Thank you for trying again though I appreciate it :D

Submitted(+1)

sometimes ewen if i have all the coffes killed i can'T dash but i enjoyed it good game

Developer(+1)

Thank you for letting me know this issue, I'll try to fix it. The coffee dash was connected to the UI on the top left, was that filled and you still couldn't coffee dash?

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

i couldn'T dash sometimes but i had cups but i think i didn'T had 3 cups and maybe i just forgot that. i check it now

edit: i checked but i still don'T know

Developer(+1)

Oh hmm , I see it might be an enemy out of range issue. I should probably make that more clear when playing the game thank you for letting me know

Submitted(+1)

The theme is absolutely hilarious, not sure if I'm just really bad but the mouse sensitivity is frying my brain a bit, but I am a tea drinker after all

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the theme :D. I have seen a common sensitivity issue problem😅, my mouse DPI was very low so I wasn't aware while developing. I'll keep this in mind the next time I make a 3D game

Submitted(+1)

Super fun! the character controller is super sick and feel great to use. Definitely a high skill ceiling because it took me about 30 attempts to make it through the tutorial 😅

Developer

Oh my god I need to make the tutorial easier😅. I swear I thought it was easy😭😭.

This was so fun!!! Never played ghost runner so this was a humbling experience... especially on my trackpad.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! You should def try ghost runner out if you liked this :D

Submitted(+1)

Good game bro! I've never played a game like this, so was hard for me. The mouse sensibilty was high too, so make it harder. Anyway, pretty good project, congrats!

Developer

Thank you! I apologize for the mouse sensitivity, I couldn't add it within the game jam 😅. I'll keep this in mind when developing for the next jam .

Submitted(+1)

I liked the concept. The controls were a bit finicky for me, but that might have been because I was using a touchpad instead of a mouse. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! And yes, I did design this game for keyboard and mouse so I apologize for the inconvenience 😅

Submitted(+1)

No problem! It was still fun to play!

Submitted(+1)

I really enjoyed the game, it was amazing, sensitivity was a bit too much for me, if it had option to change sensitivity it would have been great. Fantastic game overall :D.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I do apologize I didn't get the time to implement settings😅.

Submitted(+1)

Well same happened with me lol, I made my game in last 12 hours staying up overnight 😭. I couldn't design UI and settings.

Developer

Yeah I played your game it's actually really impressive for just 12 hours :D.

Thank you😊❤️

Neat game, with some polish and a story could be one you could release someday!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback!
