Really fun 'spin' on TTRPGs :) I missed a bit of agency, some way to alter the odds in my favor or buff a character for a certain event, but love the idea and presentation of your game!
I also enjoyed not being able to win from time to time, and having to choose who to leave behind to take the hit

Very funny premise, awesome aesthetic. Clearly reminiscent of D&D but with your own spin on it, nice job!
An extremely interesting and well-made game.
Great concept!
The only thing that didn't quite convince me are the characters that “come back to life”, but that's just a minor detail, great job!
Very nice.
Sprites music ambiance gameplay: All seems perfect: congrat
this was so fun and funny haha. I really love the artstyle of the sprites. Super cozy/cute.
Congrats on a great submission!
Woah this is really awesome! Feels super polished, and idk how many text options and encounters you added, but it feels really complete. I can see this being an actual game on steam with only a bit more content and progression. Super original concept and very fun game!
Really well polished, the art, music, and writing are fantastic. Only minor complaint with the UI is that the sword spin was painfully slow once I was multiple encounters in and understood the mechanics.
The risk management is novel and works really really well, opening up strategies for minimizing deaths or getting OP characters. I think the enjoyment and strategizing is lessened though by not knowing what you are risking, sometimes it was instant death, and other times it is a single HP. It also seemed like there was way too often that I was getting into completely unwinnable encounters.
It's nice that the party is random after time you play since it make each playthrough different. It's also impressive how much unique dialogue, encounters, and character quirks you managed to incorporate within the time limit, while also having great art and music. Playing it was truly amazing!
great idea! After getting a basic understanding of the rules, I found it really interesting, it requires careful planning and checking each character’s stats.
This is really cool! I'm surprised it doesn't have more ratings. It definitely is one of the more polished games of this jam. You were able to do a lot in just 3 days. I loved the animations and the SFX, so really well done on that. I was able to repay my debt :D so that's good. There was clearly a lot of thought gone into the characters as well cause the character do something different when they win, loose or get hidden which was a really nice touch.
I will say one small critique you should definitely somehow be able to upgrade stats considering the stat requirements for the mission is pretty high. I was able to clear the game cause most my party died and gwen gained ton of strength, so it was easy to keep rolling onto Gwen😅, but it is a game jam after all so I understand if you couldn't include that.
Overall this is a great game and I really enjoyed it, great game jam entry :D
Thanks for playing. We definitely wanted to add a "shop" or "gym" where you could upgrade your characters but was unfortunately out of scope for the jam. Ultimately, the game is about rng manipulation and having dead party members is a great way to do that. Most of my playtesting I wanted certain less valued members to die so I could land on my one or two good characters.
Pretty cool game, could see this being a bigger game in the future if the gameplay loop was expanded some.
