Very cool take on the theme! I agree with others that a short in-game tutorial might be needed, but still, it's pretty polished and the art style is nice too :) Thanks for jamming with us
Thank you Theo for hosting the game jam and playing our game.
Looking forward for upcoming jams.
This is not only a beautiful beautiful game you put together, but the gameplay is really satisfying as well. It's so impressive that you were able to provide so much visual and audio feedback for different stages of completion. Awesome awesome stuff!
Thank you so much, that really means a lot for us!
I really enjoyed this one! I read a bit of the game page, but mostly jumped in blind and had a fun time scrambling to figure out the mechanics while my health and air were decreasing. I think it would be good to add some tutorial to explain it, but I also think the mystery added a lot to my experience. I really felt like I was shipwrecked alone and had to figure it out. And the game is gorgeous!
Thank you so much for this feedback.
I love that you just jumped in and went for it without relying on tips, just figuring things out as you went. It’s really cool to hear you still had a great time that way.
I wasn’t specifically aiming for that “no guidance” experience, but I’m really glad it ended up adding to the atmosphere for you and made it feel more immersive.
Really solid and complete experience. Short yet effective with very nice progression. The art is amazing, and the audio is nice. The biggest flaw of the game is the lack of tutorial. Even after reading the jam page I struggled to find how I craft (for some reason E to open inventory is not mentioned on the page). Once I understood how the game works it became a very good experience.
Thanks for playing!
We probably should have put a tutorial screen on as it started up, its an oversight that not all the controls were listed, sorry about that :)
I have edited the page to clarify how to open the inventory
The art looks great. I had to play through the game twice before I understood how to play it properly without dying. It ended up being quite enjoyable and I managed to craft wings and thrusters for the space ship. At the end I didn't know if I completed the game or not since I couldn't craft more space ship parts but I also didn't receive any confirmation that I was done. Very fun game though!
Thank you for playing the game and giving us feedback. We really appreciate you for doing it.
I noticed that a lot of players found it difficult to understand the game mechanism as we didn't have time to implement an in-game tutorial system. To help with this, I’ve updated the game’s page to provide more context and tips.
As for winning the game, you need 4 things: Power Core (hidden somewhere on the map; it emits a special sound effect that gets louder as you get closer), Wing, Thrusters and a Hammer (press R 3 times to apply the 3 fixes).
Ohhh thank you! I was missing the power core in that case!
Thanks for playing! The last part of the spaceship is somewehere in the world. There should be a sound cue but its quite difficult to find still, some tuning was definitely needed haha
I realy like the artsyle. Didn't play for too long cause I find games like these a bit confusion, but I can tell how much effort went into it.
Thank you for playing the game and giving feedback. We really appreciate you for doing it.
As for the confusion part, the game page has been updated to give an in-depth tutorial on how to play and enjoy the game.
