Really fun game - I was really in it for nearly 50 rounds haha

The game speeds are handy for strategizing, but only mostly at the  beginning for me - I wound up being pretty OP pretty quickly, and managed to keep the fastest speed on.

The look and feel of the game area really well curated, and I could easily come back to playing this one!

Great work!

Y'all made a fun platformer, with a really cute (and heartwarming) aesthetic and vibe! There was a good blend of ease and frustration with the platforming, and the pie always feels rewarding.

Thanks for hosting another great jam! Super excited for the next one.

Despite the fidelity issued with the draw mechanic, I feel like the game carried a lot of mood and potential. The drip effects were really cool, and made the experience more immersive. Would love to see an update!

The concept of this game is a lot of fun, and I think it could absolutely be expanded on! I loved the pain counter

This one is really charming, and the treasure minigame had me sweating. I enjoyed the overall mechanic and I can really see the potential for this being a party game. Nice work!

This one's a hit for me! The gameplay is simple and smooth, and the progression is organic and satisfying. I appreciate the humour quite a bit as well, and the music stood out to me too!

This is a great submission! Really polished, and fun concept, with some really fun music too.

I'm one of those who needs to keep looking back at the book for the recipes, so for players like me, having the legend/recipes one less step away would make it easier for me to memorize the spells. I found myself loading up on tons of skeletons. This  incidentally worked pretty ok for most of the fights, so I didn't feel the need/urge for getting too creative with ingredients, which caused my bag to overflow.

Also I loved the intro - perfect, no notes.

The gameplay and level design was really fun, and you managed to make the challenges and upgrades satisfying and context-driven. Getting past the areas which required upgrades felt really earned, and adequately challenging. I really enjoyed the main character sprite, and the idea behind finding different parts of your former self. My only critique is that it would have been nice to have some more hints to what the environment was, because it felt a little bare, some sfx, and maybe some indication for when the double jump is available or not. Good submission!

Hey - thanks for playing, and for the nice feedback! Did you summon the skeletons? The game is centered around summoning an undead army. You use the QWEASD keys for the spells and the arrow keys to summon skeletons in both directions. I thought summoning the undead was pretty on-theme, but I'm open to hearing what your thoughts are!

10s! 10s across the board! Loved everything about this and oh god the recycling mechanic is bananas

Really beautiful and fun game! Good feel, and nice visual feedback. Not sure if anyone else ran into this, but I found that the sapling stage would always start requiring one collectible to win, but if I died, I'd respawn with what I assume is the correct amount required: 30. Awesome stuff!

I had a blast with this one, and Mr Leggy's design had me laughing my way through the entire game.  I wasn't sure if some of the fail states - like swimming off the screen to your death - were intentional.. and I wasn't sure if I liked that that was a thing while I was playing, but oddly I think of them really fondly in retrospect, so I'll assume those were features. Definitely a lot of that old-school charm haha

I really enjoyed your game :) - it actually brought me back to the quieter moments of games like Undertale, where you kinda get to just explore and get to know characters. I'll echo a bunch of these comments and say I also really enjoyed the writing! Definitely a stand-out for me!

This is not only a beautiful beautiful game you put together, but the gameplay is really satisfying as well. It's so impressive that you were able to provide so much visual and audio feedback for different stages of completion. Awesome awesome stuff!

I really enjoyed this! This will age me a ton, but it brought back a lot of old sim nostalgia. Great style and satisfying, cozy gameplay - lots of potential!

Y'all killed it with this one. First off, the title sent me - "ploonts" as a name is perfection in and of itself. The style suited the gameplay and theme really well. I played this for a while! The roguelike mechanics tying the theme into the game was clever and effective! I'm echoing my gamedev partner BenignChaos, but because this has the passivity of td games, it does lend to a speed-up function, if only for rounds you've already done.  Awesome work!

Really stoked to hear this - I did the art and I still haven't beaten it, but benignchaos and my brother Rob (who did the music) both beat it. So, it's very much doable.. which means I will be getting back to it as well, because I have to beat it before we balance it or I'll forever be a tourist to our own game and that's not okay.

I, in fact, am thrilled that you like the look of it :D - thanks for playing!
