- Very polished runner with great energy. The music and visual style are easily the strongest parts, and the character customization and weapons make it feel much bigger than a typical jam game

Musics are bangers, gameplay is quite nice, only problem I had was that the loading screens on the web take quite a while. Besides that it's a really good game.
The audio/video is extremely polished
This game is very polished, very good game! Sometimes when I jump, it is just not as responsive as other infinite runner games.
cool,
I like the game, controls feels a bit lagging, but vibe, gameplay and art are awesome!
The overall visuals and audio are really polished, and the gameplay is fun! I did notice a slight delay with the controls, though. Also, sometimes when I try to switch lanes, I end up getting stuck in the middle. Still, a really great game overall!
I really enjoyed the character's movements syncing with the beats. Though the controls feels a bit heavy. And I found a bug where I got stuck in this situation below. Great music and great artwork too! Would be great to play this on mobile!
Stunning game! It is clear alot of time and effort went into this.
I am really impressed with the polish on this. Although intellectually I know it's possible to make 3D games in the JavaScript I'm still always impressed when someone does it and it doesn't just look like a bunch of flat shaded polygons or whatever. This looks like you used a real game engine . Which I suppose maybe you did (?) but still good job !
Thanks! I'm glad you were impressed with the graphics. I actually used the Godot Engine to create it. I put a lot of work into the "Funk-Toon" and Pop Art aesthetic to make sure it didn't just look like a bunch of flat polygons. It's great to know that the effort I put into the presentation paid off! I wish I'd had more time to optimize and develop what the game really should have had, but oh well, that'll have to wait until after the game jam.
Ha! That just goes to show that it's talent, not engine or even running environment that matter.
I was going to comments something about the controls feeling sluggish, but then I thought about the title of your game and had another go at it. I focused on moving only on the beats and I had a better experience. Was this limitation intentional? If so, I needed more obvious instruction before the game starts.
Also, the loading screens slow down the fun. Eliminate them if you can so we can get another run in right away.
Thank you for giving it another go! It’s very interesting that you found the experience better by moving on the beats. While the 'sluggish' feeling is partly a browser optimization issue I need to fix, I love that you connected it to the rhythm. I definitely need to add clearer instructions or better visual cues for that. And yes, those loading screens are the first thing I'm fixing post-jam! xD
The music alone keeps me hooked to the game. The SFX are maybe not on the same level (feels like 8 bit?) I keep dying too early in the game though (not used to the endless runner genre I guess.) Instead of going back to the main menu after dying, I’d recommend just starting from the start on the same level. The loading time between each run is taking too long, and it disrupts the game loop. It’s a fun endless runner, so we want to keep the players engaged longer in action. It’s a polished entry with nice art that fits the music. Good job.
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the music. You're absolutely right about the load times and the death loop; I plan to implement a faster level reset right after the jam ends so the action keeps going. I'll also review the sound effects balance to better match the music quality and implement what the game really should have had from the start: a system that truly complements the music and mechanics. Thanks for playing.
Man, I’m assuming these are some free-use tracks, but they’re pretty jamming.
Great artwork too. I thought the flat assets in a 3D was cool.
If I was to be nit-picky, I would’ve like WASD mirrored on the arrow keys.
Great job!
Neat runner. I've never been good at them so didn't get far lol. Good game.
Pretty cool game and got me playing for a while. The art is nice, I liked it. The audio was awesome; kudos on the music choices. Customization is something I didn't think I'd see in a jam.
My only gripe is that it takes a lot of time till you get back into the action after losing with the loading screens and so on. Otherwise, fun game. Good work!
Solid-solid visuals and music going on here. Love the graphic style too. Just a fun endless runner.
Catchy music and good replayability
I really like the core gameplay it feels satisfying and well designed
Loved the art and the style of this game.
I was half expecting to need to play it like Guitar Hero in order to shoot etc. So I was surprised when it was more like a sonic like coin collection.
The lag made the game a bit tough, but I'm going to lock that up to browser play.
Good job! Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
really unique style, great job!
Blending fast platforming with tactical combat is a super cool idea. The scaling difficulty feature sounds like it gets really intense! Keep up the great work, love the concept.
