Awesome job! Leaving a rating for sure. 5/5 :)
Thanks for the tutorial, without it it would be unplayable. ;-)
Thats an impressive and complex game, and I very much like the fact that you made it in HTML and Type-/JavaScript.
Very well done!
Really great game, this fits the theme so well, it would be really cool seeing an expanded version of this.
Wow, one of the most impressive game jam entries I have ever played! I was seriously hooked and felt like I could just keep playing and optimizing for hours. The tutorial was really well done, and I was able to get right into the main gameplay after. Really, nothing I would improve, just some thing to think about is whether you would want to lay out the combinations or let the player figure them out on their own. Also, when I first made the fire, I thought it was bad, but then I looked at the hint sheet (which I do think was helpful in the context of the game jam). Seriously awesome work! Keep it up!
Really impressive and very inspiring.
Wow, this is very ambitious game and very well executed! I really like the idea of these machines and see very cool machines you could build. Additionally, I am amazed that you could add a tutorial and multiplayer. Not much to say about things you could improve, only that some music would be cool.
Well done! Congratulations to this amazing game.
Interesting game, maybe with some better art this would be great!
Love the style
Really great lil sounds on this game, feels super slick to click around and do stuff. Also really impressive with just HTML, I forget how much pure HTML is just a full game engine these days. I'll have to try my next jam game in pure HTML and js and see how far I can get. Unless you want to work as a team maybe???
It's JavaScript (well, mostly TypeScript these days), but not much HTML (basically just a single canvas element :D). It's my own custom engine (used for a few commercial projects, and lots o' jam games), but it's all WebGL and built like a native engine (I don't even use HTML/CSS for fonts and stuff, I do that all in WebGL...). I might be up for trying a jam as a team, you can reach out to me at jimb.ly on Discord if that works for ya.
Sent you an invite! I think our gameplay sensibilities match up well.
I like this game! It's easy to learn, but hard to be expert. Love it!
I love the pixel art style of your game. The core gameplay is kinda fun but it's a bit difficult for me to understand. However, it's a really good management game and very potential. It'd be better if the tutorial is a bit more polished.
Drone Supervisor II Online nails it's concept. It's a perfect fit for the Machines theme and has that addictive 'one more run' loop. SFX are great, though some ambient music would help. I haven't tested the async online multiplayer yet, but it's a really cool feature to include in a jam game
Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for playing! Music's not my strong suit so I like just layering a bunch of musical sound FX and as the game gets going it starts sounding somewhat like music... though also somewhat like noise when you put it on fast-forward :D.
nice to see MMO games here! Liked it!
good concept.
Very interesting, definitely continue expanding on this concept!
