  • Fun to see a game in the visual novel engine use a alternate system to play the game. The amount of cards and combos you can have and tailor that to your choice made this game very unique. Pregnancy content wise we have the main character use her pregnancy as an object of study and to sponsor that study to the mages. You then have to work to progress your pregnancy which comes with both it's perks and pitfalls. Gameplay wise it's focused on a card system which you can sort of build up. Cool to see when you go a certain direction with cards that the cards evolve with you. Creativity comes with the unique art for each of the cards and the combinations of cards and effects you can have. Finally this game really excels in progression as the entire story and gameplay is built around trying to progress your pregnancy. Amazing game!
  • Why believe in the heart of the cards when you can believe in the womb of the cards instead? God, I suck at card games, but that is my own issue and not the game's. It just means it took me a few runs to really wrap my head around the flow of the gameplay and which cards go well together and which... really don't, leading to effectively dead man walking scenarios in the worst cases. Still, I managed, and the ride was quite fun, with cool characters and a ton of story to follow along to, with more progressions than just our own. I think the floor is still soaked with milk. All in all, a turbulent but enjoyable time for those who don't mind some save reloading.
  • An interesting card based resource management game with a well written overarching story that does a great job tying it together. I am forever impressed by what this dev can make the Ren'Py engine do...

While this one definitely has some noticeable cracks showing, the conceptual foundation is strong enough that I still enjoyed powering through the annoyances. Probably helps that I'm a sucker for deck-builders. If it's not to much trouble to make a Android-specific change, I might consider making cards require two taps to use, since a), it can be easy to fat-finger the wrong card at times, and b), single-tap could bring up the information about what a given card does. Your foresight in including the Cheat sponsorship was very wise, although even with it I still managed to lose twice. I think making it clearer what the win/lose condition is would probably help. (Also, I never really figured out what the Origin choice did?) Also, a Hide UI function would help to occasionally get a better view of the MC. Overall, really good, even despite the flaws - which, themselves seem pretty damn understandable for a project like this being attempted on this kind of a time scale. I'd be super excited to see a post-jam update - or for that matter, whatever it is you got cooking up next.

This game was fun to bug test. Each playthrough really was informative in finding what works, what pairs well together, and what to discard.

Really novel card concept. It takes a few times playing to figure out what strategies works and which ones bottleneck you, but that is also part of progress. ヾ(≧▽≦*)o
