How the hell did you guys make such a long game in only a week?? Amazing work guys!!

What an incredible production. Level design worked well to build on the mechanics and atmosphere. I also enjoyed the quality of the phone calls. Awesome work :)

Developer

Thank you for appreciating the level. Thank you so much for playing

It might be a web issue, but the lights behaved very weirdly and most of the time the game was too dark to see anything. I would prefer to play a PC build. I liked the premise though, big fan of the mystery flesh pit
Considering the jam's a week long, I think it's very solid!

Developer

Yea we think it might be a webgl issue with the lighting. Looks a lot better in engine. Thank you very much for playing

Finally! A way to use my Peaks of Yore skills, but now in a Peaks of Meat setting.

I did find the climbing mechanic a bit stiff. As far as I understood there's no way to adjust position while grabbing onto something with WASD, which would make the mechanic a bit more satisfying and comfortable to use.

Developer(+1)

Yea the climbing solely uses the left and right mouse button, apologies for the stiffness, in a larger scale project that would definitely be the next improvement. Thank you very much for playing

Submitted(+1)

It really needs a sprint button. otherwise it is certainly original and creepy. Perfectly fits the jam.

Developer

Glad to see you think so. Thank you very much for playing c:

Really creepy and fun game! I did enjoy the climbing mechanic when I got into it, clambering around the cave while I'm just waiiiting for something to jump out at me, you set the atmosphere really well!

Developer

Happy to see you liked the atmosphere, thank you very much for playing

Loved the anatomical horror. The sounds really added to the suspense and fear factor.

Developer

Yes! I did the audio, hope you liked the jittery broken elevator music. Thank you for playing

The climbing mechanic is awesome and to output such a work in a game jam GG solid entry.

Developer

So glad you like the climbing mechanic, thank you for playing

i feel like im a monkey soul in a human body!! Tazan time. Problem: i have to focus to find the way. the touch sometime have some buggy when look at it light sources going smoothly but turn my camera to dark sources it make me feel like im leesin (i have to listen that scary creature walking around me and then dead.)

Developer

Thank you for playing. The light we think is an issue with webgl builds, It looks fine in engine. I think Lee Sin would speedrun this game frfr

Submitted(+1)

Super impressive! Wasn't able to really beat it, I don't think, but I had a great time with the game.

Submitted(+1)

Fun climbing and grabbing mechanic, sick art style, fun voice acting.

I enjoyed the mechanics in this, gives me white knuckles with meat! The irl hands are a niche touch and overall was pretty cool, tho when I got up to the key part I was very much confused where to go at that point, cause the bombs couldn't live long enough to break that door.

also skeleton bad bone sfx

Great Job! :)

Developer

Ah yea you gotta backtrack once you get the key. You might of missed the phone call just before that point.

Thank you for playing : )

I really really enjoyed the climbing mechanic but I couldn't pass the part with the flares since I couldn't see anything and I got frustrated trying to climb in pure black. Also there was some weird flashing light in the elevator, which kinda hurt my eyes.

With better lighting, however, I think this could be a really spooky and fun game. When the light went out, I audibly went "ah shit, no..." because I was NOT looking forwards to finding whatever horrible things lived in the cave XD So a good horror bit right there.

And the climlbing mechanic, once again, was very fun, I really enjoyed getting into the zone and just going. I want more but like... With a flashlight XD

Developer

Thank you so much for playing.

We think there is an issue with webgl builds, the flare section looks totally different in engine. Its really unfortunate that it is pure black.

Submitted

If you do a downloadable version, I'll very happily play it. Again, the mechanic was a lot of fun and I think there's potential!

Really liked the entire concept and how you guide the player, also the climbing mechanic was really well done just a bit difficult for me XD

Submitted(+1)

I like the idea but I wish it were brighter, even with the flare I couldn't see much, and I couldn't get pass the part of janking the plumbuses out of the eye sacks. There were a few that were impossible to find the right angle to jank. I like the mechanic of climbing tho, and the telephone man, he's chill, I'm guessing the secret was a picture of him (?

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you very much for playing :)

We believe there was some issue related to the way webgl builds do lighting which messed up the first flare section. It looks completely different in the project
