  • The grappling hook movement feels cool, and the top-down time-trial idea is a great fit for quick replayable levels. I also really liked the graphics. The controls can be a bit tricky and sometimes frustrating, but the core idea is strong - nice one!

Cool game!

Interesting idea, and quite innovative. Music and graphics are also well chosen. Exciting gameplay - passed all 3 levels ;).

It was fun, congratulations!

Thank you boss !!!

Nice little game! Had some fun with the levels and wish there were more! Interesting grappling idea, would be nice to polish it up a bit as it would really make a solid full game mechanic. The only issue I ran into is that I would forget to cancel the previous grapple and it would pull me back, maybe if it removed it itself it would be a bit more fluid and spiderman-like for a more fast paced experience. Great job for the jam though!! :)

Thanks. Glad that you liked it. Refining the grappling mechanics took most of the time. Wanted to have around 10 levels, but we ran out of time.

Great concept. This deserves to become a full release on Steam, not just a jam game.

Developer

Omg. Thank you so much 😭

The controls in the game are too complicated for me, but I tried :)

Developer

Thanks for trying. We will try to improve the user experience.

That grappling hook was frustrating. It's so hit and miss whether it works or not. The first level is a bit too long and samey, could use a bit more variety or make it short. The second level was more interesting but super short. Would've been nice to be able fight that big drilling machine at the end. Good work!

Thanks man. Really appreciate the feedback. Wanted to make level 2 longer with multiple checkpoints/speed gate but we decided against it for the game jam. I also wanted to do a boss fight with the drill but there were so many bugs to fix XD

Unfortunately there’s a coordinate mapping problem between the mouse and the in-game grappling cursor, making it difficult to play correctly.

Developer

Hey, thanks for the feedback. I wanted to avoid using plugin for the mouse cursor. Currently, it shows both - the mouse cursor and the aim/target.
I will fix that after the voting ends. The cursor needs to be at the wall before you can shoot the hook.

loved the graphics, the grappling sometimes doesn't work, other than that great game!

Developer

Hi Makram, Really appreciate you checking out the game. Glad that you liked it. There are some hiccups which needs to be fixed but I will have to do that after the voting period ends. Currently, it is not permitted to make changes to the game.
