Thanks for the kind words! The effect is just a little bit of trig. 2 bounding lines are drawn in an angle, and the other lines are just a loop that runs a few times (i just draw out of bounds to be sure that there are enough lines at all times) drawing lines with the length between the 2 bounding lines. I had the idea to always axis align the thin lines but that made me dizzy. :D

Love the color palette, it feels kind of like a GameBoy game! Mechanics are very creative, I like how you control the heating power by also changing the size of the heating area, while the planets have different orbits. Makes you really be careful how you manage your planets. I liked this mechanics a lot!

I played around. I like that the sun ray has a different amount of heat that it emits based on the length of the ray. I love the consistent color palette for this game as well; it really elevates it. The gameplay was kind of hard to grasp at the start, but I got the hang of it and enjoyed the game! It's a solid game, and I really liked it!

I wish I could destroy the planets when overheated, but overall best game i tried so far
