Cozy simulation game! I like to just wait, relax, let the system do the progress and the making, and then upgrade each part from time to time after I have enough currency :) The presentation design is amazing! Keep up the good work!
Probably one of the best presentations of the jam, except for the fact that at first glance it's confusing to understand what type of game you're playing and what each button does (which goes in line with the zero text idea, so its not that bad). I'm surprised at how well done it is and how perfectly it runs in the browser!
Cool game that you created. I loved how intricate and detailed it is, but at the same time it was very complicated and hard to understand, so if you want to ensure that player navigation is smooth, add a tutorial or help section. Second, try to explain things with iconography. What am I upgrading? Am I turning winter into spring? So many unanswered questions I had while playing the game. Hence, I think explaining things rather than leaving users guessing would've been beneficial, maybe even adding it to your game's description. However, it's a solid game, and I would love to see more updates on it after the jam! Keep it up!
Thought it was just like Cookie Clicker at first. But there’s a lot more going on than you first realise. It’s always fun to watch the numbers go up! There are some mechanics I didn’t quite grasp, but it was still fun to figure things out myself!
Thank you all for the valuable feedback about unclear mechanics and lack of tutorial! The idea was that you figure some staff out yourself, but I can see how that can lead to frustration if you didn't notice something or misinterpreted some intentions. I am very sorry if some of you had unsatisfied experience (and for short loop music too, wish i had time to replace it, but you can mute it in game).
If you need some hints for the game:
A nice game, but some kind of tutorial would be a really nice addition.
Nice game, maybe adding a more instruction would be less stressful for some person.
the loop music is a bit disturbing too.
but very good creativity
2 Positives and Negatives:
Positives:
- I enjoyed figuring the game out! The emojis surprisingly explain a lot
- I like that you can move the boxes to find your optimal incremental strategy (Is that how it works? Idk)
Negatives:
- I notice the loop of the music
- This feels like it would fit more in a Cozy Winter Jam (Edit: Knowing everything is slowly getting warmer as spring comes, I could see how it can be for Cozy Spring Jam)
Tried to speedrun my game, feel free to beat my record
