I like it, scratches that openTTD train itch a bit. Simpler, but sometimes simpler is better.
A few issues/remarks:
I cannot get my train to stop at a town. (I played in the browser)
I feel its better to have an 'empty your hand/mouse' button on the action bar so you dont have to search which button to empties your hand and a mouse over text can then also say the hotkey. That way it can be played mouse only and people can discover/use hotkeys as they need them.
