The concept is magnificent, you hit the theme spot on, there are sounds and they're great, the design is cool, and the level design is fire. Just need to improve the cube controls a bit—they feel a bit weird and grabbing them is kind of clunky—but for a 3-day jam, it's brilliant. Also, you should've added a restart before the beginning of a new room (but you already mentioned in a previous comment that you didn't have time for that). It turned out to be a very good game, I really enjoyed playing it.

Developer

Glad you liked it!
It's true, I had trouble making sure the player doesn't abuse the cube physics, that's why the reach is so low and collision is disabled when holding it, the lack of time does make it feel unpolished.
Speaking of time - as I said in a previous comment I wasn't even home on Friday, so my work started a day after the jam launched.
Thanks for playing and pointing out the issues!

Strong contender for the best game of the jam! I felt so excited seeing your execution of this concept. I only wish restart brought you back to the start of the room.

Thanks!
The restart was supposed to bring you to the start of the room buuut I kind of ran out of time to do checkpoints with the way I did the transitions... I didn't work at all on Friday

Such is the way of the jam haha, you end up having to make sacrifices that you know people will criticize... Still, I felt I had to bring it up since that was the biggest barrier to enjoyment.

Cool mechanics! Visually, too. But the music loops, which is a bit uncool. The gameplay is good! Good luck at the jam!

Developer

Yup, the music was one of the final additions. It's my first game with music though so it's better than the hum of my pc.
I hope I'll only do better next time!
