I'm interested to know how you programmed the NPC, can you contact me?

tg/discord - @ciretrus

It really means a lot when someone notices you built the whole thing completely solo

LMAOOO I love how you guys keep finding a million different ways to break the game!

Awesome stuff, super polished game! Honestly fantastic for a jam entry

Cool little game! Just needs a bit of extra polish and it’ll be great

So sweet❤

Absolute music to my ears!

That was the exact goal! Knowing jam games are short, I wanted to let players break the game however they want—the money ring is one of those options. Free rerolls aren't bugs either; they let you throw together a broken build quickly without wasting time, so you can go play other games

Now that I've read the description and played the game, here's my take. The concept is neat - tracking the characters and deducing the killer is a solid mechanic, and it fits the theme well. However, the pacing feels sluggish and you start yawning after a while, especially during the long waits while everyone finishes eating. Visuals could also use a bit more love: the little characters are nice, but it’d be great if the background matched the quality of the cover art. Good job overall

Absolute legend! This is literally the exact reason I made this game! There's no lag outside the browser build, but honestly, the lag makes it hit way harder lmao

Lovely art, super cute vibe! Audio is crisp and the game is really juicy. Downside: steep difficulty curve and unskippable dialogue at the start. Overall great work, loved it.

I'm really glad you didn't hold back and gave honest feedback - I love comments like that! In my defense, though, the theme was 'Trust No One', which doesn't necessarily mean lies. The theme kicks in when 50 chests are flying across your screen at high speed, making it physically impossible to track them, so you can't truly trust a single one 100%. I did think about doing a level-based progression, but decided to stick with the shop and items instead, as balancing linear levels to be neither too hard nor too boring for a jam would've been really tricky. This way, you can just craft whatever build you want at your own pace. Either way, thanks a lot for playing and leaving a review!

Lmao, what a chad. Make sure to take a screenshot next time though!

Thanks for such detailed feedback! I considered charging a cost for spawning mimics and rerolling the shop for balance, but for a short jam game, I figured it was better to keep them free so anyone could build a crazy, game-breaking combo if they wanted to.

Cool little game, super polished and full of atmosphere. Respect!

Cool, cozy roguelike! It's really fun to play, though a bit on the difficult side

Yeah, I felt like saving up takes a while at first, but if you immediately rush the money-scaling items, you can basically break the game in like 5 minutes. Thanks for playing

Cool concept and great art, but it could definitely use more juice/effects. Good job!

The game looks insanely juicy, but it's also brutally hard. It would be way better to dash in the direction the player is moving rather than towards the cursor - otherwise, it makes aiming and shooting so much harder

Can't fix the reactor, is this a bug or a skill issue on my end?

I love these little guys, they’re so cute! But what about the gameplay—is the whole point just to keep one guy off the platform?

Stuck on level 5, cool game though. Crush the posers!!!

Fun, sizeable game, but combat felt a bit unclear. Theme adhered to well

Cool design, has a story, and fits the theme well! It is pretty long though, and the colliders could use a bit of tweaking so the character doesn't get stuck on them so much

Short and sweet, such a charming game

I really liked the game, but it was just too hard for me. The visuals and music are top-notch!

Lmao, so your take on the theme is that a grandma trusts no one in an asylum? XD

At least write a description for the game, because it's really unclear what to do and how to exit the kitchen menu

I didn't quite get how this fits the theme. And buddy, at least fix the colliders so the character doesn't trip over invisible seams!

Great idea, but pretty tricky! Juggling so many facts to spot the liars is hard, but I really liked it

Awesome work guys, this is incredible! For 7 days of development, it's pretty much perfect. Keep up the great work!

Great take on the theme! It's on the shorter side, but a very solid build. Just felt like it could use a little more interactivity/action going on. Good job!

Decent game, cool visuals, and the goblin with a gun is pure gold. But let's be real - the theme is a bit of a stretch. Are your levels procedurally generated, or picked from a preset pool?

Very solid game, I really enjoyed it. Great job! Just needs a shop or item upgrade system and it’s good to release

Cool short game with interesting levels and a great take on the theme. Well done!

Great concept and a spot-on theme implementation. Good job, solid game!

Thank you for comment❤️

The game is quite long, so I didn't finish it. It's cool that you can interact with pretty much everything, but that's also the downside - it makes the pacing pretty slow, especially for a game jam. Still, great job making it feel so cohesive and atmospheric!

I loved the music (especially the main menu track), the sound effects, and the visuals, but I couldn't get past level 3 even after multiple attempts. My groceries were getting completely smashed to pieces!

The game keeps restarting every two rounds - is it supposed to do that, or is it a bug?
