How does the game fit the theme?
Players should beware of mimics. They can take the form of ordinary objects—and not just objects. The entire environment is against you. Gather the keys, unlock the doors, and make your way through the rooms in search of the exit.

This was quite polished! I enjoyed the run and dodging mechanics. You have successfully made me scared of all chairs in my own apartment haha.
Simple gameplay and easy to understand! The lighting is nice. Good job!
I love how the game feels complete and fun to play! Super well done.
Cool ambiance, though the game might be a little too easy ? I feel like the fake doors could have been a bit less random and more something you could spot like the black smoke, maybe you did but i didn't catch that ^^ Otherwise great entry for the jam !
the administrator's welcome note on the bedroom floor sets the tone before anything moves, and then the first key sliding away from me along the wall the moment i reached for it had me trusting nothing in room one of fourteen. the single lamp lighting the low poly bedroom looks great, good job!
A fellow lone wolf.
I really enjoyed this one, the atmosphere is great, the core idea is simple to understand and the risk of repeating levels is a fun memory game in itself. It has a lot of personality, the camera reminded me of the old PS1 Resident Evil games, and the style of Book of Memories for PS Vita.
Nice run and dodge game. Simple but fun. Art looks coherent. Sounds well placed.
The mechanics are pretty simple, and the sound design is really nice.
Like the style you chose here! Most of the levels are quite easy, I was hoping for a bit more challenging and a level that tests which route would be better, ykwim? All in all, this is a good one!
Mimic ganggg. Made it through all the levels - everything was solid and had a nice flow to it. I felt the time before things attacked was a bit generous, but suppose it kept the tension high. The only mechanic I really struggled to understand is what the tell was for the fake doors. Just kind of ended up brute forcing them haha. As stated, very biasd on the theme - but yeah, great work on the game!
I've seen many mimic games in the jam, this is the one I like the most rn.
My only problem is the movement. Being an isometric game, the movement might feel a little imprecise sometimes, (and the game requires you to enter into small spaces).
But other than that, it was good. It felt like a really solid experience.
I really liked the presentation (great foundation for future projects!) and the gloomy vibe of the music. The game seemed a bit too easy, though, with the mimics posing little threat.
Come see my Mimic game if you can!
I really like the visuals, the atmosphere, and the unexpected moments in this game. Really cool!
Cool short game with interesting levels and a great take on the theme. Well done!
