Really impressive game! The combat itself feels good, the classes are nicely distinct, and the whole trust and betrayal system is a great fit for the theme. My cleric apparently decided she liked the enemy team better during the second fight and started healing them and attacking my mage instead, which got a laugh out of me. :-D
The presentation is fantastic too. The character art, UI and overall polish are way beyond what I’d normally expect from a jam game.
My main issue is the length of the fights. Everyone feels like they have a bit too much HP, so battles tend to drag on longer than they need to. Cutting that down by maybe 20-30% would probably make the pacing feel much better without losing the tactical side. I also wasn’t completely sure I understood all the finer details of the trust system, but the core idea works really well.
Very impressive overall.
Incredible, visuals, audio and idea! I could not find much utility in some abilities, for example the fighter's war cry, because lowering your party's trust can be incredibly dangerous. But other than those few, the game was pretty well balanced. Great job!
Cool game! Great job! Love the visuals!
Very good visual. but the HP maybe too much. it make a round become too long.
Visuals are insanely polished and it was impressive the work you guys managed to do with a team this big. It was frustrating how long the enemies were taking to die, though. I don't know if I missed something. Other than that, amazing job!
It is an amazing game done by a whole team and you can tell.
I see the inspiration from other games and how it was placed efficiently on it.
Amazing how much you managed to achieve in 7 days.
I love the character art and the game feels good!
It definitely has potential to build upon!
Wow, very impressive. I was not expecting such a thorough system in just a week! The art was great too; great job!
Good job, beautifull art and audio, gamep play was fun, I love Darkest dungeon alike. The text boxes with the tutorial could be slightly better, though.
Nice take on the theme, and it adds quite an interesting factor to the combat. Sometimes the enemy lineup can be so strong that my party gets wiped out pretty easily. Really impressive work overall!
the audio and visual presentation is really great.
Really loved the art!
The music and art are very high quality.
The design aligns well with the jam theme and deals with an important factor for groups of mercenaries that isn't explored enough. I would like to comment however that equating payment with trust is oversimplifying it. That is acceptable for a video game, of course, but just pointing it out. For example - if I pay someone more than they deserve (not fair) probably everyone would get suspicious (less trust).
There are a few technical issues I noticed:
I'm a fan of tactical games so thank you. Good luck!

Great submission! The mecanic of trying to convince enemies to join your team is a great idea, the combats turn out well even though i hav'nt understood everything, the artistic design is on another level, it's really immersive, the charadesigns are awesome.
I like that you can attempt to convince enemies to join your party if you have room. Cool take on the genre and the jam theme.
thank you for playing!
Great take on the theme, game's fun. I feel like fighting enemy tanks when whittled down to just them took a bit too long. With some balance in combats, this could be amazing, honestly. It's visually the best IMO too. Great job.
thank you for playing! we'll definitely do post jam balance tweak
Hey, team. About the itch page - the white font is hard to read on the background with a character wearing a white robe.
Am planning to update this comment when I play the game on Windows...
We have problems with web build, so it will be fixed soon
good game
Fun, sizeable game, but combat felt a bit unclear. Theme adhered to well
thank you for the feedback! unfortunately, we ran out of time to polish the combat and add vfx for each skills
