Really liked the setting and visuals are solid too. I did however not fully understand how to make out the uncool customers.

Solid concept, maybe add sound configurations in the settings.

The art is great and the setting feels unique as well. I I hope some more people discover this in the final 30 minutes of the jam and give you the number of rating you need.

This feels very ambitious and the tutorial is really needed but maybe it would have been more helpful to build a tutorial level for the player that you can play out with info boxes in each step of the gameplay, so the player fully understand the mechanics. Anyway, one of the more creative entries in this jam! Great!

Very happy that you enjoyed our game so much. Thank you for the kind words but you know, there is always day 11 to make more money ;P

Always like me some black and white in video games. It gets used to little as an artistic style in game in general :)

Thank you very much for this nice review. The pixel art we did was inspired by the classic Lucas Arts games like Monkey Island. We thought it looks still nice after all these years even though the its so simplistic in its design and tried that for our game as well. Glad all the little details didn't go unnoticed either :)

Thank you for the kind words. We are happy you enjoyed it so much.

Thank you for the kind words and the good feedback. Yeah GIFS would make it look more appealing right away probably. But hey, this way you were pleasantly surprised no ;)? Next time we will definitely think about making GIFS for the preview pics. Already left a comment and rated your game a few days ago :)

Thank you very much for the kind words. We went trough to levels for our pixel art. For the character models, I did the first round and than my more experience colleague refined it to make it as pretty and readable as possible. The title screen and animations are all him. We only had one programmer on our team and he worked wonders.

Thank you very much for such high praise. We glad that what we aimed at was visible <3

What a pleasant fun and VERY TRUTHFUL idea for game. Perfect size and quality for a game jam. Very good job!

Very nice visuals. Please add an option to lower the volume :)

The art looked really nice and quirky. Also it was harsh to make me imprison a dog just because of its attempt to poison some queen.

Core concept works well. Maybe add a full screen option to make it easier to inspect the buns.

The concept is solid. The movement capabilities of the cat and the speed of the falling blocks made it feel a bit to difficult to plan where the blocks should land.

This is quite difficult but really well done. the sounds are and visuals fit great together

My only gripe would be the control setup. Why use J for Attack if you move with WASD? But besides that this seems like one of those classic hardcore adventures like the very first Zelda. The art fits nicely and yes I got that Spongebob reference of course. Well done!

This is a hidden gem in this game jam. It is different from all the "Papers please" clones in that it actually makes you interpret the info that you habe. The visuals and the audio work great together and enjoyed playing it all the way through, even though I failed to save the shop. This is truly one of my favorites so far!

Looks really pretty!

Thank you so much, your last sentence was all that we had hoped for to achieve. Very glad that it actually feels like that :)

Thank you

The aliens reminded me of TARS from Interstellar. But in this case they were lying sacks of shit that I felt motivated to beat :)

Visual novels are not my genre personally but how you brought everything together to build a nice atmosphere visually and on an audio level was really nice. Well done!

Thank you very much  :)

Thank you very much for this review. We are very happy so many people enjoy what we did. Playing the snake minigame sure always is a good strat to take your mind  off the most recent scam that old lady Norma Louise probably tried to pull ;).

This was such a cute, small but polished experience. The art is beautiful and quirky and the whole presentation is pleasant to look at it. I would buy merch of the cyclops with trust issues! Very well done!

audio-visually it feels so polished!

Audio-visually quite the big meal!

The concept fits the jam pretty well. The cover art ist amazing :D

This looks soooo great and fits the story so well. Sadly got stock at some point without any items left.

Thank you so much. Yeah we worked just to polish and deepen the enjoyment for the final 36 hours of the jam.

oh that sounds rough, glad you could still get something done for the jam

that voice acting is such a unique choice. and that Breaking Bad reference in the end killed me

the music was nice

This was a fun throwback to icy tower :)

I really liked the concept but there could be a bit more of an intuitive tutorial inside the game.

Cute consistent art style, solid game mechanics and great fit for the theme. Great job.

The mechanic of dragging the ticket on one of the other options felt a bit weird but ripping the actually ticket felt therefore amazing! Solid Papers Please inspired entry! Also like the cute pixel art!

Getting nostalgic for good old Game Boy Color games over here. I'm not sure about the theme of the jam but the visuals are great!
