How does the game fit the theme?
The game is inspired by the part of Homer's The Odyssey where Odysseus tricks the cyclops Polyphemus by calling himself a word meaning Nobody/No one (Nemo in Latin, Οὖτις in Greek), and it is Polyphemus's trust in this "No one" that leads to problems for the cyclops both in the story and in this game. The game also references the idea that by calling out about "Nobody", none of Polyphemus's neighbors come to his aid, since "nobody" is harming him, so he finds that he cannot trust any of his neighbors.
TLDR, cyclops literally trusts the player, who calls themselves 'No one' / Nobody, and can trust 'no one' else around him.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Fonts and audio. Audio management and level switching code repurposed from a previous jam project. Squiggle shader credited on jam page.

this is so cute i love epic!!! i like how you adapted the story to the theme its so silly
This is a pretty fun little game! I like the use of the theme - trust No One
The art style is super charming and on point with the silly premise. And even though I can't rate the music highly because you didn't make it, the playful greek melody fits so much for those escapades
Very well done!
I feel awful for tormenting Polyphemus (even if he did eat those those guys), but the presentation while I was doing so was spectacular lol. Fun series of minigames, the fly one was probably my favourite. Love the play on the theme of the jam.
This was such a cute, small but polished experience. The art is beautiful and quirky and the whole presentation is pleasant to look at it. I would buy merch of the cyclops with trust issues! Very well done!
This was a fun experience! Really loved your Polyphemus and the little mini games.
Gave me a feeling of the old flash games (but in a good way!)
kinda easy, i like the audio .
This game is so silly I love it, the audio is nice, and the art is great! Story is good, and it's cool that it's based off of Greek mythology!
Really good job, especially for a solo dev in 2.5 days :D
I did accidentally softlock myself by letting the rats push the coin offscreen though lol
This was so good !! Loved the art style, the gameplay is cool, and very funny :)) good job !!
Fantastic! Start to finish I had a wide grin on my face and at "Nobody is my lawyer" I actually laughed. Sticks to the theme in a very creative way and minigames are quick and fun! Artstyle is charming but fits game perfectly and the Polyphemus is so darn cute I could almost forgive him eating six men!
It was a game with an interesting theme!
I'm curious about his story lol
that was fun and very cute! thanks for this entry
The funniest game I played at this jam—it looks like a cartoon. Really cool!
This is amazing lmao I loved it
New take on the theme, really cute artstyle, nice storytelling and some fun minigames, great game overall!
