Fun game! Getting motion sickness after pressing C, but it's the superior way to play

After taking the energy, I managed to jump over the tower and fell into blue nothingness! I'm sure I did these nice lil guys a favor.
It's cool how you included the tutorial into a narrative intro sequence. Also nice to be the betrayer once, as most games in this jam have you be betrayed by others :D
The premise is great. I could see getting more into the theme of betrayal using camp and/or adventuring situations which you could use to find out who's the traitor. Even without the trust-component its a cool concept for a game. If there were things a player could do during a battle it could be a banger!
It's great that you included a tutorial. It's a fun game idea, and the power-ups and upgrades really help keeping up the motivation. The only thing I would mention that dampened my enthusiasm a bit was the fact that you really couldn't tell when one of the faces would actually get you. If it was clearer when they actually would get you (like on actual contact), you'd have more knowledge about when to use an upgrade last second or not. Either way, very fun game!
Very nice looking and sounding game! I wish it would've been a bit clearer how the game worked mechanically. I didn't really know where I was supposed to go, and the way I gained paranoia and the way it worked didn't really reveal themselves to me. But maybe keeping it a mystery was part the intention!
Fantastic presention! Lovely pixel art, and the characterization of the different suspects works really well (although it threw me off that it apparently has nothing to do with the case at hand and it just describes how the character is). It would be great to know if you were right with your accusations!
Fantastic work! The dialogues were fun, and the gameplay works really well. As a player, you're able to make pretty alright deductions (even if I missed the mark by about $50.000 in the end!). It's also great that you guys created all the artworks and artist bios. The music was very fitting as well. Certainly one of the games of the jam that I enjoyed the most.
The Mike Mignola-style art is incredibly well done. The music is also really good fit. The gameplay was interesting, but I could never eliminate enough false salesmen and my choices ended up being pretty random. If you could make it a bit more about the deduction, this game would be absolutely amazing!
It took me a couple of minutes to understand what's happening, but the idea is pretty cool. Some of the explanation on the page also didn't seem to reflect the actual gameplay (Double clicking a deployed unit to sacrifice them doesnt seem to work. I'm also not sure why you would use that).
With a couple of upgrades and interesting battles I could see this become a pretty cool game!
Absolutely wonderful art, music, and UI. The game works very smoothly with no hiccups whatsoever. It's a great and incredibly polished translation of Pokemon's slippery ice tiles into a cool new setting and a great overall presentation. It's just unfortunate that this game doesn't relate much to the theme of the game jam!
Super cool game. Love the theme of figuring out which bot to kill, and the whole presentation is a perfect fit for it. The mini game is very enjoyable and it's fun reading through the messages.
A tutorial for the mini game would be great, as it wasn't immediately obvious what to do. Later on it becomes positively impossible to finish the tasks, and I just ended up having to guess which process to kill. I couldn't figure out if there were any clues apart from the id numbers (which seem to be randomly generated, so I guess players can also sometimes get unlucky). The first couple of minutes were absolutely fantastic however!
Wow, what a banger of an entry. The visuals are incredible, and having multiple songs that loop perfectly just makes for a ready-to-publish presentation.
The gameplay is very satisfying too with a clever system. It's a bit on the easy side, but for the context of a game jam I prefer that to it being arduous! Are you gonna make a full release out of this game?
