How does the game fit the theme?
A group of aliens is willing to help you save your planet. But can you trust them - and can they trust you?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
some of the code is generated by AI.
some of the assets were inspired by AI (but drawn by me).
The project also used some public assets:

Good submission but the position of the camera made it hard to see enemies before they're right in your face, that made the game less enjoyable because I just had to spam space to defeat the monsters.
Also, the game ran a bit poorly, I think this is mainly because of the 2D lights from unity (+ Unity 6).
In my opinion you could improve the looks of the game by making all of your sprites / tiles the same pixel per unit.
Other than that, since you made the game all by yourself, I think you did okay!
Thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely target the points you raised if i'll keep working on it in the future.
Tutorial is nice, but content after that is too short. Theme is on point. Keybinds and controls fight with the player. Audio is lacking. 2D lighting looks great. Could use some more polish.
Anyhow, what's important is getting the game out, so, Good Job!
Kinda cool, i would change the keybinds
Energy source secured.

The SFX for some reason were satisfying, and the art was cute and I love the 2D art mostly always, and the game generally a vibe to play, Great Work <3.
