How does the game fit the theme?
Keep your eyes peeled. Any passenger may not be who they claim to be. Catch the fare dodgers.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used asset from itch(barely-games.itch.io/retro-engrave-uigui-kit) for my modal window, buttons and controls. Also, sound design was build from pixabay.com

Really fun Papers lease-like. Nice Job
This is sooo fun 😂🚂 The ticket ripping + kicking people out is hilarious and the Papers Please vibe works really well! A tiny tutorial would help at the start, but really cool idea
The ticket animations and the art style is so unique, I loved them a lot. The gameplay is a fun twist on the "Papers Please" mechanics where you have to pay attention to multiple things, super well executed in my opinion.
One of the things I loved the most was the humor of the game; what do you mean I have to kick all bald passengers?! xD The kick animation was really funny to see too, and there were some... eh.. peculiar stage that make me laugh too.
My only caveat is that it took me a while to recognize I had to drag the ticket to the "kick" and "change seat" buttons, a small hint or tutorial would be appreciated ;)
Finished the game, very fun to play. Great job, it's impressive you managed to do this game alone in only one week :}
Amazing game! I loved the art and specially the ticket animations! The game is really fun and it does fit the theme, since you have to be on the lookout for the tickets that don't match. Great job!
Really fun once you get into it
Really enjoyed the game. It took me a while to understand, but it was a fun game overall! :)
Looks really nice ! I like this game and the atmosphere
The buttons dont seem to work? I kept pressing it but nothing happened
Setting the volume was a little confusing, there should be a sound that plays while setting volume, like ROBLOX
Game seem fun tho! Very much like papers please!
Edit: Nevermind i just saw that you have to drag and drop, my bad!
I loved literally kicking people out lol great work!
I liked this one a lot, really well executed. Tearing off the ticket stubs was a very nice touch too, great job!
Pretty solid game matching nicely with the theme. Gameplay core was easy to engage and time limitation made everything more exciting. Well done!
Really like ripping the tickets and the time added a bit of pressure! It was a little confusing with so much to think about from the get go but once I understood it was a fun game :)
Kicking people off the train is fun. Nice art and sound. Well put together game.
I'm not sure if the idea of a train inspector kicking fare dodgers through windows came up before development or during but either way I love it. I also got a kick out of the 1 million bald guys train. It was a bit sad to see the cash/reputation system not get fully implemented in time but I see the attempt. This result is still enjoyable nonetheless.
The mechanic of dragging the ticket on one of the other options felt a bit weird but ripping the actually ticket felt therefore amazing! Solid Papers Please inspired entry! Also like the cute pixel art!
The hilarious "kick them out" animation, ticket-ripping feedback, and steady onboarding of passenger inspection variables make this game an absolute gem! Balancing small inspection details with comedic physical rejection creates such a fun, Papers Please-style loop that shines even brighter as a solo project.
A few UI clarity, difficulty, and animation ideas for post-jam updates:
- Kick UI Affordance: Make it clearer that tickets must be dragged directly into the "Kick Out" drop zone so players don't think the kick button/interaction is bugged.
- Difficulty Curve & Pausing: Add a brief tutorial demonstrating ticket rules, and pause or slow the timer while checking reference manuals or route sheets as variable complexity scales up.
- Walking Animations & Upgrades: Add a forward walking sprite/animation cycle for characters, and introduce a shop or upgrade sink to spend earned inspection money.
Super satisfying mechanics, hilarious humor, and brilliant solo execution! If you get a free minute, I'd really appreciate your feedback and rating on my solo jam entry as well: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523
Love the animation of kicking people out, always fun to point out imposters. It took me a second to understand the ticket mechanic so maybe a tutorial or brief demonstration would have been helpful at first.
One department was full of people with same name, the walking looks like is dancing xD, It feels like i'm doing a job simulator instead of playing a game. But is ok.
The game was really fun to play, you always had to look for different stuff while looking at the stamp, and the challenges were perfect. The game is also really polished and well implemented. The fact that it was done by yourself is amazing. Great Job
Enjoyed the game quite a bit. Had some glitches where the kick out button wouldn't work. It would be nice to have a walking forward animation as well, but all in all a good entry.
If you happen to drop by again, please drag the ticket into the "kick out" zone. I definitely owe you one :) I made a poor choice regarding the UI element.
Thanks for your time!
