A great game! A well realised world to explore and an engaging main character.

Hurray!

- Very amusing and original premise! I like how it actually integrates both the crayons and the kazoo directly into the story. It felt like just the right length for a fun little adventure (though definitely on the difficult side). Phyllis was an interesting anti-hero!

- The 2D/3D mix is lovely and gives me a similar feel as the classic Paper Mario games! The sprite animations are great too (I especially loved the adorable swimming fish), and there's nice use of sound.

- Though there's obviously a lot of original art that's not from the PC&K pack, it looks very good and meshes really well with the jam assets (which are used in creative ways)!

I think my only wish, if the game gets more development, would be for a few quality-of-life features like a checkpoint system or a way to advance text without skipping it entirely (maybe also different responses to attempting certain interactions in the wrong order)?

Fantastic work on this overall, it feels very high-quality!

I have learned some sad facts about my ability to survive being shot at by bandits.

Yay for petable cat, though!

There's something magical about the combination of barebones 3d and handmade crayon art. I especially love some of your artwork (even if it's outside this jam's criteria). The bedroom has this comfy whimsical feel, and the cat is amazing. I genuinely hope you consider doing more stuff in this style in the future.

I love the new assets and the idea of using a kazoo as a weapon. I didn't get all that far in the game, though, since I kept dying in the bandit fight lol

This was a really fun game! I didn't get too far before dying because I, in my infinite genius, ran into the fire several times. Really funny that you made that damaging I can't lie! But I think you have a really fun prototype here, the story is wonderfully lighthearted and silly and your usage of assets was great!

This is a weirdly beautiful take on the jam. I think it’s helped by the original crayon assets (which I’ll freely admit are better than what I can draw myself), but at the same time the ones from the pack are put to excellent use. I love the ghost as a costume, and the way the shop owner simply poofs into existence behind the counter.
