Once I read the comments below about the missing bullet sprites, it became much more playable with some simply zig-zagging. I think the sideways leaning may have been a bit too strong, but you had a pretty straightforward core gameplay even with the missing sprite bug being considered. The knockback was also pretty strong, and attack swing/firing was a bit on the slow side. Overall you did a decent job, it just needed a bit more testing before submission to address the missing sprites.

I will give you this: you had the best thumbnail out of all the games. The movement and attacks from the robots seemed relatively random. And I seemed to die randomly without warning.

Thanks! That's because I tried to make the robots randomly blast bullets/lasers but I forgot to create the sprites. So it ended up being glitchy.

From my understanding, you removed a .zip and a .pck and replaced them with an .exe in the update? the .exe doesn't work on its own for me, here's the exact error I get:

Error: Couldn't load project data at path ".". Is the .pck file missing?
If you've renamed the executable, the associated .pck file should also be renamed to match the executable's name (without the extension).

From which I assume you should either enable the "embed pck" checkbox on export settings, or provide the .pck file to download

For something put together in such a short time, it's pretty good! You gave it a shot and that's what matters!

I suppose you could also continue building after the jam ends. Polish off the rough edges.

really?

It took me awhile to figure out how to run this.

Instructions to get this to run:

Step 1, be a windows PC.

Step 2, download kiseki.zip

Step 3, unzip Kiseki.zip into clean folder.

Step 4, download kiseki.pck into folder from step 3.

Step 5, go to the OTHER game from the same game jam 'The Last Ride', and download The Last Ride.exe into folder from step 3.

Step 6, go run 'The Last Ride.exe'
