Hi again!

I'm editing this thread instead of starting a new one.

After a week, I'm wrapping up the second testing phase. I've just released the new version for testing, which includes all the fixes I deemed necessary based on your feedback.

  • Added footstep sounds
  • Confirmation screen for exiting
  • Fixed issues with some BGS files
  • Resized some files and adjusted preloading to try to make the game run more smoothly in the browser
  • Designed  plugin so you can play with a controller (not tested yet, as I don't have a controller 😅)

You can try the new version here:

I’ve also just created a Discord server to centralize feedback, since I’ve been receiving it from many different places lately and it’s been very confusing. You can join and leave your comments here.

As always, thank you all so much for your help and support!

I really like how polished it already is. My native language is Spanish, so I haven’t been able to fully dive into it, but it’s not your fault at all, and it’s not that it needs to be translated into Spanish. In fact, I think it might even be better this way, as I can give you a different kind of perspective.

I think the first room scene is a bit saturated ,  lighting, effects, ambient sound, etc. Some players might like it, others might not. Since it’s the first playable section, it might need a softer redesign.

I really, really miss the sound of the player’s footsteps, even if they were very quiet.

Other than that, it might sound silly, but it reminds me of The Addams Family game for the SNES. It’s a great project, and you can tell there’s a piece of your soul in it. Keep going like this.

Muchas gracias amigo!

Hi! I saw your post about Phase 2 testing. It’s a huge milestone to have a game playable from start to finish—congratulations!

I am an aspiring Game QA Analyst looking to build my portfolio, and I would love to perform a structured audit of your game for free. Instead of just general feedback, I can provide:

  • Professional Bug Reports: Detailed documentation of crashes, soft-locks, and UI issues using a formal bug-tracking format (Summary, Repro Steps, Severity).
  • Regression Testing: I’m happy to re-test specific areas after you’ve applied fixes to ensure no new issues have popped up.
  • We can also just use excel file to record all the bugs I could possibly found at the game.

Do let me know if you are interested with it. Hope you have a nice day!

Thanks so much, friend!

Of course I’d love to work with you, although unfortunately I don’t have a budget for testing...

If you’re still interested, let me know and I’ll get in touch with you when V3 is available for you to test (hopefully sometime this week...) 😉

Best regards, have a great day!

No problem friend. For course I am still interested with your project! The testing is free since I am doing this for experience. Hope you have a wonderfull day too!

Perfect!!! 💖

I've already released the third version for testing; you can try it out in your browser here (I think there's at least 8–10 hours of gameplay). 😅

I've also just set up a Discord server to centralize feedback in one place, since I'm currently getting it through so many different channels and it's getting pretty confusing.  You can join here: https://discord.gg/nRRbFaD9V

Sure! I did join the discord server. But I might only start to test next week! Can't wait to test your work! Cheers!

Thanks a lot mate, hope you enjoy it 😉
