  • Definitely the standout of this year. The art was great and the writing did a wonderful job with this year's theme of "progression" and expressing that beyond just "belly get big". The bugs in the late game puzzles and how often things can "re-break" lead to some frustration in the gameplay department, but I've seen the dev already take steps to fix those issues. I'm really hoping to see more from this dev (and that the game teased on the TV is actually real).
  • VERY strong artistic direction, both the obvious, in-your-face ones and more subtle details around the ship. The progression was very satisfying and the characterization of both Zel and her slightly ill-mannered AI assistant were great - we love a girlfailure mom-to-be, after all. Unfortunately, the base puzzle, while having great progression, is also buggy and makes the game impossible to complete, or at least it did for me. Not only does it feel like it is consistently trolling you at times with intentionally pattern-disrupting input combinations, the 8-panel puzzles have a tendency to be unsolvable, with the harsh penalty of erasing Zel from existence if she dares to try them again. Both the in-universe and irl programming have had enough of her, I suppose. Really, what this needs is a little polish and more testing and it'll be perfect.
  • This was the first game I felt deserved a 5* in one of the categories. Due to plenty of multiples, the bump would actually grow very large, and the bump shape to me was very well drawn! I enjoyed the MC's personality and her style as well. It sucks that there were some softlock bugs that many encountered (myself included) but the mini-games were unique and it's clear this game had a lot of thought put into it. From the artwork to the storyline, I was pleased! I do wish there was more to explore, even if it's one-off quips on the pipes or why some tiles are busted.
  • Overall I felt like this was a great game. I encountered a few bugs during my playthrough but l tend to save often for that reason. While a few game jams have done games like these in the past, I enjoy the sense of urgency to help solve a puzzle, especially when it's tied to pregnancy themes. Starting with pregnancy content, I feel like this game did an exceptional job at providing that. We see the character pregnancy progress thoughout the story, the changes pregnancy has on the character and ability to fix the ship, the character discovering what it's like to be a mother, and finally the birth of her children. Great job! Gameplay wise the game is pretty simple and more so focus on story over mechanics. The puzzle mechanics are present but lacking in a way. More... frustrating than feeling rewarded for solving a puzzle in a sense. Creativity was great from the story setting, character art, and overall feel of the game. Jam theme we see the character pregnancy progress though the story and the effects it has on her. Overall great addition to this years game jam, great job!

I enjoyed the game but found one hell of a bug at the end *SPOILERS* If you click to go through a door or fix a puzzle right as a contraction hits you start the puzzle or go through the door but when you show up in the next screen you cannot interact with anything leaving you with just waiting for the timer to count down.

Very good game, we need more games like this with hyperpreg and multiple births :D

I do love the game but i wonder if the game from the tv is actually real?

I enjoyed the plot and the art is great, but as other people here commented, some more time on the bugs and gameplay would be better. I personally didn't like the fact that the maintenance minigame is basically randomized. I think having a pattern sheet, as in the MC has a cheat sheet because this happened all the time and she has to guess the proper sequence out of maybe 4-5 would have been more engaging and less frustrating. But I don't mind the full randomization in the big fix with the time limit, since it ups the challenge. Still enjoyed it and was a well executed premise.

belly: 7/10 definitely big but can always be bigger but good size at max

game play: 2/10 too difficult specially that ending I am playing a fetish game im not here to challenge myself I am here cause I enjoy the fetish content.

art: 8/10 probably the best ( from the games I have played from this jam ) but i go back to the belly rating here honestly.

average rating: 5.5/10 the game play drew it down the most and I legit quit cause i couldnt beat the last part. I think some difficulty is fine for a fetish game but if I really want difficulty I would go play a souls like game. I am being harsh i know but at the same time my point is the game has potential but its buried under poor game play. I want the developer to continue but fix the bads please

Developer

Thank you for the honest review. I know gameplay was one of the things that didnt turn out, i struggled to get it working, and something I want to improve on with later releases.

suggestion might be just take out the giving birth part if you can’t separate it to only happen outside the puzzles cause that’s causing soft locks Thus making the game unplayable.

Or

you can keep it in but make the after the ship is repaired a section of its own. Like make a short section ( like Max 30 seconds) where you have to spam click or whatever to prevent giving birth before help arrives

Marvelous! One of the very best entries this year! Puzzles get a bit repetitive, but the game is short and sweet. I'm pretty intrigued by the teased game that you're working on. Hope to see more of it in the future! 10/10

Pretty amazing game and some nice visuals too. I really like the design and the puzzle challenge but for the updated one, I skipped it since I played a bit of it and needed to see how the story ended (this is post gameplay review of version 0.03 btw) and I must say, it's pretty great :D . 9.5/10

Very good game. Honestly only critique is if  the player is dashing to try  and beat the  timer, you  can get softlocked if the puzzle and contraction QTE happens at the same time (even on the latest build). Good rule of thumb to always save before/after a terminal. Absolutely would like to see more of this and the art was sublime.

Absolutely do more games like these. Definitely a gem submission for this time. 10/10

cannot coutn the amount of times i've gotten softlocked, now during the seemingly last run of repairs on the ship i'm stuck in a loop of +30 seconds added with every input i make, i really wish i could at least see how the game ends, but sadly these bugs make it impossible to play it feels ^^; hoping it will maybe get a fix after the jam cause i'd love to play it all the way through

Check my devlog, i just posted an updated version

Soft locked it self when ship decided to rng power down after fixing last part on the third stage of growth. With as much as the dialog likes to drag out introspective moments. Cant say I want to go through all the days again.
