Was this game made during the jam? You have other game prototypes on your itch that are very similar, all of them published around the same time. It’s difficult to see how it’s related to either Astral or the limitation.

I can see this being very fun, but every time I start I get shot at for a while before it lets me even turn to see what's happening.
If you can identify and alleviate this issue, reply here when you do and I'll try it again and re-rate the game!
Not sure of why you are having this issue, but it's designed as a speed run game to keep you on your toes, the geometric shapes are smaller enemies to keep it interesting, I tried to make the game as hard as possible (zone 10 is very hard) you have to strafe and dodge as soon as the game starts. Retrocyberspace style is probable the best solution to keep immersion and focus on the gameplay.
Use of the limitations is probably not the best part of this game, but I like first person shooters. And when there are jetpacks in there it's even better )
