This was a very immersive escape room! Took me a good while to figure stuff out, but that is the point!

Excellent game. Can I get a hint for the puzzle on the chalkboard? I’m so close… And it’s driving me mad!!! 😭

Developer(+1)

Sure thing! In insight I believe that’s the most difficult (and worst design) so I’m happy to give you a solid hint :D It’s two coordinates that are not matching, left and right. And Dr Galopin think he found a pattern: 50 -> 07, 49 -> 06, 60 -> 17, 95 -> 52

It’s always the same difference between left and right… you just need to do the math <3

I could not get past the second room, hate me if you want, but think you have to count the green books blue books and candles to get the code. If you tell me how to get past the second room, ill continue. Nice game though:)

Developer

you’re right about counting so I’m not sure what blocked you! there is 9 candles in the room, 7 blue books and 6 green books :) It’s an escape game, it’s intended that it takes a bit of time figuring out enigms don’t worry!

Very good game for a mini jam , good puzzle , mindfuck but very cool

Developer

I did a small 1h update (because my SO only play with controllers and I wanted her to test it out ^.^”). It now has controller support + I added a tiny bit of UX to fix the issues few of you mentioned. It’s a bit clearer what are the controls in interaction view now! Sorry for that <3

cool! this is like a whole thing! I dont seem to be clever enough to get the telescope coordinates puzzle...

Developer

I’m sure you’re very close! One requires you to very carefully look around in the room, the other is about understanding the difference between values ❤️ you’re clever enough!!

Really ambitious project for a game jam! I loved the mystery atmosphere and especially the mechanic where insanity helps you understand the notes better !! I sadly got stuck on the second lock and couldn’t continue, but the escape room vibe was really fun overall :) I think adding a clearer way to exit/close zoomed-in interactions could help avoid getting stuck sometimes.

Developer

count what you see ❤️ I agree the documents interaction don’t have a good ux, but thanks for playing it!!

Ohhh I understood the puzzle 😭 The issue was that I entered the lock interaction before counting everything, and then I couldn’t find a way to exit it afterward no matter what I pressed !

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I added a control display during interactions so people don’t get stuck <3

Rated! This is really cool! Sadly didnt have enough time to finish the puzzle it but I really enjoyed the short time i had to play it. i did get stuck a little on how to close/ put down the paper but overall it was great. Good job!
