Quite a simple game but work well, stright to the point and was fun to play. Shrinking the area was good, good way to make it harder as it goes on. One hit death did make it hard but was good and learning how dodge the differnt pattens made it fun.

Good game overall

Simple but fun gameplay. I was hypnotized while playing :D

I WON!

I had a lot of fun, this is a very well rounded game. It looks clean, music is nice and the patterns, speeds, game length and difficulty are perfect for a game when you die in one hit, and games when you die in one hit are satisfying to beat. The progression with the shrinking going as far as it could go was very cool.

I missed an explosion sound when I died.

Thanks for sharing!

Simple and very entertaining! Very polished and fun:)

Simple solid piece that is built well around only 1 life and dodging in tight quarters, i quite enjoyed it! If i have any critique it's that the random bullet phases felt a bit like gambling. they were by far the hardest, once i was past them the rest is pretty much a cake walk, which is understandable since i think you made the right choice not to spring a difficult pattern on the player in such close quarters.

Developer

Yeah, you are definitely right. Its very hard to make a fair and difficult pattern in a small space. But im glad you enjoyed it!

I like the glow on the bullets and the amount the screen shrinks, I feel it’s kind of relaxed or it doesn’t push you too much if you take it easy or don’t rush yourself to make damage but I think that’s fine

I could clear it in 3 attempts and it was a nice couple of minutes :)

Thank you! I messed around with the glow a long time until it looked good, its a shame that on the web version it looks kinda shitty

This was a very fun take on the theme, and a super fun simple game overall. It looked beautiful while still being made up of simple shapes. The particles from the bullets breaking off the boss felt really good, and the sound design helped sell the impact too. The bullet patterns, mixed with the tranquil almost hypnotic music, made the whole thing feel really mesmerizing. Even the lose screen had some cool polish to it, especially with the light-effect running up and down the side of the panel. The shrinking mechanic really made the title earn its name, and finally getting the win felt great. Very fun entry.

Thank you! I spent like 90% of the jam just polishing the game to make it feel good and im happy that it was noticed!

nice game design with the bullets, i like how it makes some pattern yet its possible dodge but still very challenging, i would like if we had more health tho... nice game overall!!

True bullet hell here! Great work with the bullet shaders too.

Thank you! Its a shame that the glow effect didnt transfer too well to the web version

A simple idea but well executed. Pretty cool and gets hard very fast 😂

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, the final few phases are kinda tough lol

fuh, this is some true hellish bullet game, really nailed the claustrophobic vibes with no room for error. it's fun until it's not haha! but a very well thought out and created entry, congrats!
