I tried a different approach this jam and built (tried to built) a horror game. If you want to try, let me know what is missing and what is great in it. Thanks!

Small prototype with average length of 15-20 minutes of gameplay (Maybe a full hour if you push and explore everything and both endings)
You play as a small developer working towards a goal we can all relate to .. needing to pay rent on time. Although it feels like everything works against you as you attempt to push the final build for the game or get easily distracted by the mini games you've uploaded on your own office station.  Everything in this has a price, so be careful going too far into the red.. the suits might start to notice the budget is dropping..

Looking forward to hearing what feedback you may have and let me know if there is anything I could possibly add in the future. Thank you

Help a certain Windows XP's legend to try to escape the abandonned maze screensaver,
Be careful of your memory management as all your actions have a cost !

Vein Glory

I'm looking for feedback on Blood King : Vein Glory, a fast paced, top-down survival horde game where you play as a hemomancer and blood is your weapon!

I'm primarily looking for feedback on combat and game feel as well as thoughts on upcoming features, but all thoughts are welcome!

Gameplay

1. Slay enemies to drain their blood.
2. Use blood to attack...

or health when in a pinch!

3. Slay even more enemies to drain even more blood!

Stances

Fluidly move between stances to access a whole new set of abilities!

Melee Stance

Blood Slash
Close ranged primary attack
Parry
Deflects projectiles and blocks attacks

Ranged Stance

Blood Bullet
Long ranged projectile
Blood Bath
Teleports to the cursor and unleashes a powerful area attack

If the game sounds exciting, you can play it here -> Blood King : Vein Glory

Thank you for reading, and have fun!
