Use of the limitation
I wasn’t sure what can be classified as a myth/legend, so I just kept researching and then adding a lot of them to my game such as the silver cord, teleportation, astral projection, and astral vampires. The player can only see and kill the astral vampires by projecting to the astral plane and slashing them with their silver blade. The “silver cord” is a connection between the projection and the physical body. While the astral vampires can’t harm your projection, they can harm your physical body. In the physical world, the player can’t see the vampire, but they can evade by teleporting (another form of projection).

As others said, very cool concept. It’s always nice to find the jam entries like yours that are trying something, find a concept and make it grow into a gameplay loop. Well done :D

Good concept!

Really cool style and concept. Would be neat if there was more to interact with the physical world – or something to help in the astral world.

Now that’s an interesting Mechanic, really liked it. And also Astral Projection is an approach to the Theme I haven’t seen often yet.
