Introducing the winners of this year's game jam!
1st Place: Cryo-Gensis
2nd Place: My wife is a Sword
3rd Place: Tales of Edenia

If you are one of the winning games, please contact me via discord, twitter or bluesky. Itch doesn't have a built in chat function outside of the comment section but will want to get into contact to discuss the prize.

Thank you all of participating in this years jam. It really was a close one with many games just a few points from winning. Always fun to see the community come together to make some cool projects and hopefully learned a thing or two about  game development. Thanks again and look forward to hosting another next year!

Hello preggopixels.

Let me just say I was realy glad to be a part of the jam this year, it has been on my to do list for many years now, and I hope I find the time to join in again in the future. I didn't expect to place so high due to my inexperience, so I'm genuinely shocked to have the placed where I did. I was admittedly very disappointed and hard on myself when the game entered the jam in the state that it was, but it has been encouraging to hear good things people have said about it despite it's flaws.

I'm currently unable to reach out to you through twitter or blusky, something to do with your inbox privacy settings? I didn't see anywhere want the discord contact was?

Thank you for hosting this again for another year.

Thank you, I fixed some issues on twitter/x and bluesky so now you should be able to message me.

Where I'm most active is on discord and typically the best way to communicate should you want. Here is a link to my server should you wish to join.

For some reason, the I can't join the discord. Says i'm unable to accept the invite.

Is this an age check issue? I have avoided giving discord my ID.

even though i placed in 32st place in this competition i still did a good job on my game and this time i didn't end up in last place unlike last time with my game for that Halloween game jam a while back ago and also no horrible drama shit happened for me in may so that's good too and it was fun making a real game this time with a good story i absolutely cooked with the story to my game but still i liked chatting with the people here. even though i didn't win i at least leveled up my coding knowledge in love 2d so next year a could make an even better game hopefully.

Cheers, everybody. I'm glad I participated. My game was ranked 15th, making it entirely average or mid, and that's more than I expected to deliver.

Thank you to all who tried my project and commented on it. I'll keep practicing and will aim to do even better next year.
