cool bullet hell :) but I found the bullet a little to slow. well done !
I like the art style a lot.
The art style is really cute, and that's the part that made my stick around because gameplay wise, shooting was really not satisfying at all. Spamming click is faster that keeping the button pressed, which leaves to fatigue, and the bullets are reaaally slow ! :c But impressed by the content you've done in such little time, the concept and idea was lovely. I think just a little bit of tweak on the gameplay and I could finish the game with great pleasure ! :D Keep me updated if you upgrade it after the jam ~
Thanks for the feedback! Spamming click being faster than holding it down was something I copied from Enter the Gungeon, but I think it could've felt better if I tweaked both the shooting speed and the bullet speed as some other commenters have suggested 🤔 I don't think we'll do a post-jam update, but I'll let you know if we do!
I really liked the robot designs, and the ingame 3D blended artstyle was super interesting! The gameplay is also fun, although the overall loop is a bit grindy with having to replay the early levels so many times. Nice work!
This was a lot of fun, I liked the two enemy types. The ones that shoot projectiles were a lot harder than the ones that shoot lasers imo. I agree with another comment that the player shouldn’t be able to outrun their own projectiles. The loop of collecting and cashing in components was nice, but there was a particular one that looked like some kind of cart or chassis from the silhouette that I was just never able to find, so I wasn’t able to build a lot of the robots.
Thank you! Did you move on to the next floors? There are other enemy types with different drops there!
I think the audio turned out good on this game. And the enemys are fine.
I don`t like that I can outrun the player bullets. They should be faster than the player can run. Also only be able to picking up 3 items is kind of lame. Let me pick up everything and give me stuff that I can purchase for that.
Definitely a fun bullet hell! I think you really managed to get a good balance between the bullet speed the player and enemy speeds which is a big win. The only thing that bothered me was that there didn't seem to be a way to cancel the teleporting (holding Q). Especially on the last floor it caught me out b/c I would have rather continued to find more stuff (I thought there was another floor). Very nice work though!
Oh yeah, I realized that too near the end, but by that it was too late to figure out how to implement it 😭 Thank you!
It's a fun bullet hell, I enjoy this genre. I gave it few runs but couldn't unlock all the robots.
Thank you! In case you haven't seen them, the blueprints button pulls up hints for how to build each robot. I wanted to add saves so you wouldn't have to grind them all out in one sitting, but I didn't have time to learn how 😅
I think the town looks very nice, and the music matches really well. I enjoyed the random room generation and bullet hell aspects, but the 3-item limit was my biggest issue. It kind of seems like a negative fun thing. Other than that, really good job.
Cool little bullet hell game!
It's like Monster Hunter where you keep grinding to collect materials to build a new thing but then you die during a run and you can't take the material with you 👍
