Love the silhouette characters. The game looks really good. It's a great format for an auto-battler. I love shops in games and this scratches that itch. Agree with others, I'd love to see more details during the fights

Impressive scope! I had a great time admiring the atmosphere and silhouetted visuals (stylish choice btw), but it was kinda hard to know how much benefit each item or interaction would grant, so there wasn't much strategy for me. Critique aside, I really appreciate that you made a functional game with all these ideas and systems. Well done!

Really cool! Took a moment for me to click but I really like the concept here, along with great visual style. Can only reiterate the comments below, really. Very nice work!

Really dig the silhouette character and the animation is so full of personality! Love it. The powerups were cool, i went all in on vodka and whisky but it was cool how there was a fair bit of potential for different playstyles! My first playthrough i put all my money in to the bank. Do not recommend. Nice game!

Thank you for playing!

SirSunstone played this on stream and had to come try it myself! Nailed the vibes
Things I loved:
- Artstyle was inspired tbh, the silhouette and animation combo looks clean af
- Autobattlin loop was really satisfying, made it easy to keep trying!
- Impressive that there's different strats, e.g. both heals and DPS having multiple options
Things I'd love to see:
- More info during the duels, it was very hard to tell what effects were happening (and why I died!)
- A fourth building to choose from would've made a huuuuge difference imo, it felt a bit redundant that I had time for all 3 buildings but they still progressed the clock
- The town changing every 3 days was great and the difficulty scales at that point it seems, but it would've been nice to see some more fanfare given to that step (even just a "travelling" sunset image) and/or some explicit variation between them (e.g. a "poison + whisky" town, a "bandage + gin" town, etc) which would've also made facing the guys a bit more of a known quantity for a bit more strategy

Thank you for playing! I checked out the stream, loved his commentary.
I did want to add a menu for seeing your stats but it got cut with a lot of other things. Another building would be nice although I have not figured out what that could be yet.
I was also going to have transitions and encounters between towns to increase the immersion but it got cut as well. All in all, good points and again, thank you for playing!

I enjoyed the silhouettes, the walking animation and the music.  For the duel i mashed space bar and seemed to do ok :D  Looking forward to coming back to this if you flesh it out some more!

Developer

The duels are actually automatic! But I'm super glad you enjoyed it! I might flesh it out more and make a proper release so I'll make sure to shoot you a message then :)

Cool system with preparing for a duel, investing and upgrading! Clean artstyle too. Good job :)

Presentation was great! And I liked the item system though I didn't get very far :P

It felt like the first few duels I wasn't taking any damage at all, but on the fourth or fifth duel the enemies starting doing lots of damage and I died.

Developer

The scaling does shoot up a ton after a few duels, I'm glad you enjoyed it though!

This was an interesting game, it fits the them very well, and the polish for art, sound and general game feel were great, it wasnt entirely clear what the goal of the game was and after only a few duels, I found myself just clicking in and out of buildings to pass the time because I ran out of money. I understand this was an earlier build, so for that it was still very impressive. Great game and good job!

Developer(+1)

I appreciate it! There are for sure things I could continue expanding on but for what it is, I am proud.

art is insanely good

Cool concept, liked the idea of prepping for a duel throughout the day, and then fighting for a bounty at high noon.
Could use some balancing so that there's more incentive to do things during the day, I found myself spending all my money on upgrades and/or the bank in one day, and then just entering/exiting a building to get to the duels/invest at the bank.
Loved the artstyle and player animation.
Overall this was a great submission, nice work!

Developer

Thank you, it means a lot!
