I love the amount of player expression you allowed here. Very much like if making a Mii were a Jackbox game.

Congrats on the jam win by the way!
The polish here is great and I like just how many quality of life features you were able to add like the reference outline for the portrait sketch and being able to move and scale stickers after placing them. The whole experience feels like a jackbox game in terms of how well polished and put together it is. Great work!
I love this game! The art is also very stylised. I actually laughed out loud at the image slidehow with our posters in the center. Very creative! Will you be working on this idea post jam?
Hi, we will at least do one additional round of polish.
What would you like us to add to the game?
Would love more content in general!
This was so fun and unique! I really enjoyed seeing the final Result screen showing how I slowly honed in on the suspect over each iteration of the poster (though jump from my horrible sketch to the sticker phase was the only thing that gave me a chance haha). Amazing!
Very very cool. Loved the game from start to finish. The progression from freeform sketch based on the description to placing the stickers down and onwards was a real cool way to build up to the reveal. Loved the poster being plastered everywhere. Not much to suggest here because I think it's pretty great as is! Amazing work :D
Whaaaat, this is such a cool idea!! And a really unique interpretation of the theme!! I agree this would make an awesome full game...Either some kind of cozy drawing game like Passpartout (which I haven't played) or add some more mechanics for a funny party game kind of thing like Jackbox. Or with a darker tone, the mechanics would work for maybe something like Papers Please.
What a fun and unique game! Definitely something I would pass on to friends to try out.
I was kind of hoping there would be a Community aspect to it where my drawing gets compared to other players’ drawings but that’s a lot to ask for for a 9 day game jam. The end Result screen was a nice version of that.
it's simply that easy
That’s so cursed. Hahaha.
Really enjoyed this one. Fun to play!
What a cool idea for bounty theme! Even better that you made it work so well! So silly and fun!
Hahaha, super fun! I love silly games like this!
Really fun, definitely a good interpretation of the theme! During the slide show I actually got a photo with someone that resembled my perp description which was pretty funny XD
Took a while to load and I was going to give up playing but I'm glad I didn't. This game is incredible, really. For the time you guys had, this is such a cool project. The visuals are great and the way you make the poster and there's lots of images of it in random places before catching the guy is a really creative idea. Even if my art skills, aren't that great, I think I wasn't so far off! Loved it, great game
Really great art-style and cohesive story/premise. Minor but it was jarring to lose your cursor behind buttons or controls, and I did wish the beautiful drawing style could have made it into the UI too to feel apart of the game more. Less minor was no remapping for controls. I wasn’t able to rotate or scale the stickers because I don’t have a mouse and play on a trackpad so couldn’t left click something and then do something else with it. Similar to others the package and idea was so interesting I wanted it to keep going and was thrown when the lineup was short and that was the end. Seeing the poster everywhere was a pretty great touch.
thanks for leaving the Review. Yeah like 1 hour before submitting we didn’t even had texture buttons lol. So it was super quick and dirty addition right before submitting and run into some ordering issues and so on. So basically we ran out of time there to polish that as we would have liked :)
When we originally design the game idea we had multiple (3) rounds with increasing difficulty and up to 5 suspects (more similar) at the end but also this had to be scrapped because we ran out of time. We barely made it to the finish line with a working game at all ;)
This game is awesome. I loved the take on the theme. I loved seeing the different stages of the poster development at the very end. And I liked having the picture for reference when making the sticker poster. I thought there would be more suspects in the final line-up, but the amount you had also fit within the frame and aesthetic well.
This is such a cool idea. I love the kind of telephone game element to it. Just the stickers alone would have been cool, but having to draw the suspect first adds another layer to it. I was tempted to just write down the description, but I decided to do it right and managed to get the right one. My only gripe would be that I was expecting there to be levels that increased in difficulty, the lineup had suspects that were different enough that I probably could have just picked the right one from memory. Still had a lot of fun making the poster though, which I think is the real point :)
Thanks! Yea, we were wondering if people would write down the description. You could do that and translate it into the stickers in the second section (or skip the drawing entirely), but we're glad most people seem to try the drawing. It's usually ridiculous and fun to see the progression, haha.
The escalating rounds of difficulty would be a good 2.0 of the game for sure. Glad you had fun!
Awesome, wow. Totally unique premise! I would love a multiplayer version of this where the drawing/sticker duties could be split between friends. Incredible art also!!!
Thanks! Yea, that would be fun to see what the other person's interpretation of the witness is. Love your username!
Love it, I can tell tons of effort went into the art! The sticker placing was oddly satisfying, it would be cool to have a memorization component as well as if we were trying to draw a suspect from memory haha
Great job :)
Good game i don't like the 2 colours game but still i like this game and enjoy it
