Excellently designed little game. I knew exactly what to do and instantly resonated with the goals. I especially appreciated how you gave me a backpack at just the right time. Nice ending too! I would like to pet the animals.

Here's a playtest

Super cute! We had similar concepts for our games, even down to the music layering in over time, hahaha. I loved the art, it all felt really cohesive, and the sound design and music was great too. The fact that all you have to do is move around is perfect I feel, a "use" button would have been redundant, especially with a jam theme like this one. I wasn't ever confused at any point with what I needed to do. I also appreciated that when you picked up the last item you could hold after getting the basket, the item would go into your hand. Super clear indicator that you've maxed out. You can really tell that you guys put a lot of thought and effort into making sure the experience was as smooth and intuitive as possible, and it really paid off. Just a really solid game all around. Fantastic job!

Really nice. The graphics are good, and it's definitely self-explanatory. It's also just nice to play as a character who's doing something low-level but genuinely good. Not something that gets done very often in games.

The ending made me laugh.

Nice little cosy game with an easy puzzle, I was going to stop halfway through as it was getting repetitive, slowly picking things up and dropping them off. The basket was a nice power-up for the player, and I only stuck around to see the ending, where I had a feeling something unhinged was coming up, as everything was too nice and happy.

Good stuff!

This was lovely! I found it very intuitive and easy to understand, and it felt very responsive and polished. I appreciated the attention to detail, with the trees fading as you walk past them and the particle effects and camera zooming in as the animals appear. The art style is cute, I loved the mice following the character around, that was adorable! I also loved the sfx and the music, and it had a great cozy atmosphere overall. The basket mechanic was a nice addition and I really appreciated how easy and intuitive it was to pick up the trash, it made it very easy to get into, and I didn't mind the slow walking speed because the atmosphere was enjoyable and it fit the game's relaxed vibe. The ending made me sad though!

Great work!

beautiful use of 2d in 3d.  great walking animation :)  Nice visual mechanics with fading out foreground objects.  Artfully made!

This was a lovely experience, except for the ending :)

I love the presentation and art style, the parallax scrolling works great with it and gives it a really unique and polished look.

So wholesome and soothing, really nice. Loved seeing all the animals happily dancing and spreading the love, but that ending is so saad noooooo, I'd have preferred if the girl was mauled by a bear ahaha
Nice work :)

Really cute game with good vibes (except those worms D:) Found the artsyle simple but charming and fit the vibe perfectly! Liked the funny ending and how dejected the character looked. The concept is actually very similar to our first idea!

The ending was so funny lol... lovely little game. Really clever overall design; the artwork is really simple but also works really well!

The game was so wholesome, I was wondering the entire time when the dark twist was gonna come. I enjoyed the atmosphere a lot :)

*tsk* no matter who I tried to feed the mice to, no one wanted them :p I joke. It's an adorable, cozy entry, with a bonus ending of "fuck bezos"

So charming. I didn't expect to get a metroidvania in my walking simulator :D
Really appreciate how minimalist the control sceheme is, makes collecting the rubbish extremely intuitive and I played to completion because of it.

Absolutely charming little game, loved it :) Although i couldnt get the 3 matching animals puzzle, i had a lot of fun just collecting trash and putting it in the bins :) Overall the controls are very intuitive and fun. Game feel is also really good, loved different popping sounds. Artwork was well made and fit the vibe, great work!

Really cute game! I really loved when the mice started following me at the end

Oh no! Wonderful entry, but it did make me sad. Kinda interesting symbolism about doing good deeds individually but being overshadowed by bigger issues. I really like the lock mechanism you made, it's very creative. And the controls are so simple you could maybe even get away with not including a control menu at all.

After reading this, I was waiting for a jump scare the entire game going "Wait, this is so cute, what do they mean?" - Then I got to the end ๐Ÿ˜
