I like the gameplay, but i was having hard time reading those words maybe because of the font. But overall I like the game

The visuals and the feel closely match what you'd expect from something like this, well done! But unfortunately, I had trouble harvesting. I just couldn't figure out what to do. The intstructions say to use E, but I cannot tell if my crop is fully grown. And then instead it just puts in seeds. Even after having nothing in my top right slot! I also really liked the book... but then found it a bit cumbersome to use ˆˆ; but maybe that was supposed to be part of the challenge.

I love a good cosy game! The look of the game is charming and I enjoyed the sound direction (the he~llo's made me laugh). I think I may have planted over the top of my grown plants, rather than collect them - it was a little tough to tell if they were full grown or not - perhaps a small sparkle effect when they can be collected? Or maybe just a "are you sure you want to plant over that?" pop up if you try to sow seeds on an area with a plant. I can see the challenge of trying to memorize the plants by sight as the game goes on. I'll echo other people here and say that it'd be nice to have the requests present on screen. All that said, I love the take on the theme  - good work!

Thank you very much! Yeah I think UI/UX is was where I fell flattest haha!
My intention re memorizing the plants by sight was for the gameplay "loop" to be
1. Establish a varied garden
2. Neighbour request asks for a plant
3. Open book to see what that plant looks like
4. Find that plant based on visuals
5. Harvest and deliver as quickly as possible
6. Repeat 2 -> 5
I'm glad you had fun!

This was fun! It reminded me of one of my favorite loops in stardew valley (growing crops to give to neighbors). The game was cute and the gameplay flowed well. I accidentally planted seeds over a full plant instead of collecting it  — it would be nice if interacting with a fully grown plant would either do nothing or pick it up, even if you're holding something else. I also found the controls a bit unintuitive, especially E for interact (maybe space bar instead?) As an addition, it could be cool to have a chest or some place where I could put extra plants, to save them for future requests. Great job!

Yeah good ideas - I considered having a storage area, but I kind of wanted to push the player into having varied plants so that they can quickly satisfy requests by picking "Fresh" instead of just going to a bin and taking out one of the crops in there.

Thank you for playing and for your kind words!

This is such a fun concept. The artwork and sound effects are great, and I really loved frantically running around with ant spray to deal with the ants lol!

A few thoughts that might help for a future update: the requests menu felt like something I was opening a lot, and that alongside the seed book felt like too much friction. Consolidating those or making them easier to glance at could help the flow a lot. A small timer indicator on vegetable requests would also go a long way. Even just a shrinking bar would be great. Same idea for crop growth. A little progress indicator would make it easier to know when to expect a harvest without having to guess.

Great job :)
