A multilevel roguelike with action rpg combat is super ambitious, so kudos to you on your achievement! The controls are good provided that you use a controller (definitely feels like it was made with one in mind), my keyboard experience was not nearly as good so I'm glad you put that disclaimer at the start. I also have a few suggestions:

  • I think the coins should de-spawn when you leave the room. The reason being that the fabric stores offer an interesting tradeoff (i.e. health and damage for potential future gains). But this is completely circumvented by running back through previous rooms and filling up your coins again
  • It would be nice if different coin denominations had different visual depictions (like different colours or sizes)
  • It's interesting that the map is fully revealed at the start (most games like this unlock it as you go) but the consequence is that I end up beelining it to the upgrade rooms and then to the exit. Some kind of incentive to explore the rest of rooms would be nice

Excellent work though, glad I got to play this one!

I liked the art style a lot, the controls are a bit hard to get used to. But other than that great take on the theme and good job!!

The cover art is perfect. I like the use of gold as currency + health and thematically that makes a lot of sense for a goblin! I did encounter an odd issue where I was having arrows hit me from off-screen, this may have been from enemies spawning out of sight?

I had lots of fun with this one and you have something to be proud of with this one :)

very addicting game, I managed to finish 4 floors, though the music was really to short and repetitive

I glad that you like the gameplay! and sorry for the music, I was in a hurry.

Game kinda reminded me of legacy of goku 2 (i think mainly just cause of the attack), pretty fun concept but some more variation would be nice. Biggest problem was the music was very grating very fast since it was 14 seconds long
