That was reaaally cool!
congratulations on the score!! this was a great game
Thank you!
Fantastic game! I like how it was immediately obvious what the end goal was. The sound design was on point, however I did feel like at certain points the large number of different SFX playing over each other was a little overbearing. I also found that often when I was clicking the button, I would end up picking up a person or a thing that was sitting just behind it instead. It also took me a surprisingly long time to realize that anytime you picked something up, everything that you could use it on would kind of "bounce" to indicate that. Maybe a small additional sound with a little bit of panning could help draw the player's attention to that happening better? I loved the art, and all of the animations had a really satisfying bounciness to them. I also thought it was really clever the way the button drip-fed items to you, and the discovery of new mechanics and interactions felt really natural for the most part, which played a big part in what made the game so fun. Great job!
It gets pretty dark quite fast xD!
Very nice concept with cool art! I would like to move bigger objects or move them between a couple of possible locations. The camera might be a bit higher or with a scroll-down option. Cool idea to dig and come up with some more funky ideas :). Took me a couple of minutes to get how to make the fruit, fish cubes xD Reminds me a bit of god games <3.
Really great, had a good laugh, no notes!
The game was intuitive; I had a constant idea of what I was doing!
One of my favorites games of this jam so far! It has a great feel to it and is super intuitive, well done! I just couldnt get the last recipe :(
Got alot more messed up than i was expecting - thought i was gonna turn into some cute idle game with the cute art style… Anyway that was very interesting and cool! Got a little lost when couldnt figure out how to get the food cubes but worked it out after a minute!
Our games have a similar premise, but are taken to very different directions.
I love how tiny and expressive this is! But I must say, I almost drop the game because it is kinda tedious in the beginning. Sometimes you would miss the blender or fail to pick an orange. Or in the later stage of the game, you would grab something unexpected and do something wrong. But as the game doesn't punish you so severely, it was fine.
The aesthetic is really well done, visuals and sound are great. And the juiciness overall is really good.
The only category I think this game misses on is the 'would buy a longer/commercial version...' because I can't see how this game can grow for a commercial product. But aside from that, it was fun and memorable. Nice job!
Great example of a short, simple but enjoyable game, reminds me of a lot of Flash game era interactive toys, but with more polish
Thanks for the nice words, and thanks for playing!
Wow, really wonderful! This was a total joy to play and a masterclass in game juice. I do wonder if that’s why the team added literal juicing to the game too :)
Haha yes! We like to keep things juicy
This was fun and unexpected. I wish there was a bit more gameplay to it besides clicking, but you created an interesting and memorable experience!
Great feel, sound and design. You guys really nailed the game jam theme, way to go!
Holy moley... this was excellent. Bravo :)
Laughed when I accidentally blended a guy. Laughed again accidentally making a zombie. Brilliant!
Amazing presentation, great exploration of combining things in interesting ways. I especially like how I stumbled upon "recipes" before even being prompted to use them. Very nice game feel and great sound design. Loved this one
Here's a playest, with chapter markers to jump to your game
What a fun video! I'm glad that you got to see some *secret interactions* too!
Okay, I was just about to quit and comment that it's a bit tedious to take so long to make the first orange juice by clicking and dragging just to get a guy who does it for you, when I accidentally blended one of my guys and the game suddenly took on a very different turn.
Wholly unexpected, and surprising and fun from there - it continued being a process of discovery. Really appreciate the moodswitch when the visual style seems so unassuming at first, and though I felt bad proceeding this was really clever and amusing. Gamefeel and art overall really good, everything felt nice and responsive, I felt rewarded for experimenting.
Nice jobs depicting the credits too! Great job.
"I shall give you a cherry to mark you are god's chosen... oh no, not my chosen ones!"
Good job guys, I had fun. I finished it. I loved the touch with having the sound system be in the game world. The art in general was so cute
Thanks so much!
Got much darker than i expected lol! was very self explanatory though, so well done I didnt really get stuck on any part. cute art as well, and the music disc were a nice touch
I felt so bad grinding up the little guys. Great game and I LOVED the music system, as well as the credit screen.
