How did you choose to implement the Theme: Witching Hour in your game?
The antagonist is a modern day witch who betrays her apprentice, the protagonist and kills his lover, fleeing with the collective fruits of their labor.
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Witch's curse - The player is under the witch's 'Hex' which is a curse that slowly builds over time. As the Hex advances, it will make the character weaker and unable to survive combat for long.
Potion brewing - Collect potions scattered throughout the dimension and brew them according to a recipe in late game to unlock and alternative ending.
Did you create your game in RPG Maker?
Does your game contain AI-generated assets?

Cool graphics and spooky vibe
Maybe it's because I have an AZERTY keyboard, but I was not able to bit the enemies. However, I liked the ambiance and the possibility to look around, and globaly the atmosphere. :)
Thanks for playing.
The attack enemy is the same button as the interact button but I am guessing you didn't find a body to inhabit?
You can only attack enemies when you are in corporeal form (borrowing a body - your character will change from a dark silhouette to a bright one) else you cannot attack the enemies and will die in 1 hit.
Thanks, I just didn't understand after found the woman body and, i'm not really proud to be dead by butterfly attack XD lol
Where can I find the elevator key? I tried wandering around the town, but I didn't find it.
It's a shiny pickup in the store, next to the vat on the table where you brew the potions.
*Looks at the husks*
"Nice design choice :D."
Jokes aside, I had a good time with the game.
I think its strongest aspects were its negative aesthetic and its foggy atmosphere.
These two were a really nice combo.
I was also surprised by both the Husk and Hex systems.
The idea of switching from body to body to recover life and reduce the hex was really a great touch, and I wish I could use it more during the game.
That's the only "negative" side of that system for me.
The Hex system managed to make me go from "Oh no, the usual time limit system I'm not a big fan of" to "Oh, it wasn't that bad after all."
But to be honest, savescumming was also my best friend from the beginning to the end, so I could prevent any annoyance from the system.
That was also useful to understand which enemy was worth fighting to get the items.
I only wish the max value of the Hex was specified during the tutorial.
That would have prevented any worries about the time limitation at the beginning, when in reality, the system was more generous than it sounded like (even without savescumming).
The only underwhelming aspects of the game were the story and the combat, personally.
I didn't hate them, but I wish there was more to it.
Thanks very much for playing and all the useful feedback.
So glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and level build, it's what I put most of my focus into.
The game is very rushed since I started running out of time before the jam deadline, so things like fleshing out the proper story and refining the combat had to take a backseat but it's something I do plan on improving post jam.
The game was a bit confusing at multiple stages—combat, then mirror, then potion. But every time I was able to figure out what I'm supposed to do. Played two times, enjoyed roaming around the map. There is a lot that can be polished, but the RPG Maker horror feel does shine through. Good job!
Fair comment and admittedly the game itself is rough as sh*t since I had to rush to get it done in the end.
I am happy that you picked up on the atmosphere and vibes since it was that basket where I did want to bung most of my eggs.
I appreciate you taking the time to play (twice!) and for your balanced comment.
