  • Good use of particle effects
  • Nice camera shake on shooting
  • Difficulty definitely ramps up a lot with wave 3, I got cooked

Fun!

Developer

yeah i recommend you dont buy any other weapons unless you have maxed out your main weapon. also knife is better after wave 2

Good loop, music choice on point and the pistol shots have some good weight. Good job :)

The fighting's fun. It's fluid. I like the hits pushing back the enemies, so attacks are also defensive. Different weapons that really feel different too. Well done.

Developer(+1)

thank you for the feedback!

Reminded me of a flash game that I used to play when I was younger (can't remember the name). The game is fun, the pistol is op, needs a nerf imo. Other than that, great job on you first submition!

Developer

did you try the knife, late game it is much more op

Submitted

Quite surprised with this first submission! It's super solid!
The gameplay is fun, the weapons are different, the music is really good too, awesome work.
In terms of feedback, I think some love to the enemies would go far here, adding more types with different AIs would be super interesting.

Besides that, awesome work. Keep it up :)

Developer

thank you for your feedback. The music is not mine. I found it on a website, made sure it is royalty free and also credited the artist so i dont think im in trouble. As for the enemies, they were quite annoying to get working properly so i only got time for 2 of them

solid game loop

Developer

thank you

Despite the fact you mentioned this was made quickly, I have to say the knife combat was actually very satisfying! I wondered why I'd want to use a knife over a gun until I tried it

Developer

thank you i think the sounds played a huge role in making the knife satisfiying. I am a slow developer so many enemy sprites are missing and there might be many bugs

Submitted

A few little quirks like the enemies not reacting when getting shot at if i'm out of their detect range, but good submission overall.  Appreciated the tutorial included at the start.

Developer

i made sure that the robot enemies don't do that but i forgot to check with the red one. I have used godot since 2024 but this is my first game jam so I  am not used to the speed. I usually work at a slow pace
