How do you even come up with this stuff, it's genuinely gotta be one of the most creative factions mechanically and perhaps even thematically I've seen in quite a while.
The piracy idea story wise and even mechanics wise is so fun and implemented so well. And there's so many fresh ideas packed into them that it would be such a blast to play them and essentially just ignore everyone else :P
