Very good game. My rating: Fun 4, Audio 3, Graphics 4, Idea 4, Theme 5
Interesting, very different from the other games. :)
I absolutely adore the main menu screen XD. The gameplay is fun, but the camera sensitivity seems a bit much for my taste.
Great job! I like the overall style of the game and the music. The concept is cool with the lava rising and the blocks disappearing. My suggestion would be to have the mouse control the camera like in traditional 3D games. I think it would make playing the game feel more natural. If you add gamepad support, the right stick could control the camera. But overall, excellent work.
This was good, was having difficulty getting into it at first, but wow once you start getting used to the controls it's pretty fun!
nice main character, it would have perhaps more effect with eyes. But still I like the movment of the main character. The playing was hard, but I liked the design alot
Nice game! Controls are good but the camera is a little annoying.
the controls and camera are kinda iffy but otherwise nice and solid, ol' reliable
I saw your ability to make things look beautiful. It would be great if you came up with something original next time. Also, the camera in the game is quite uncomfortable.
I love that title screen.
As for gameply, I think that it would benefit from having mouse controls to move the camera, but overall its surprisingly more controllable than I initially thought it would be. Good job.
This was the highest I've rated anyone so far!
The movement is fun, and combined with the game feel and challenging nature of the controls, creates for a very satisfying gameplay experience. There's constant moment to moment decision making with the power ups, block types and random generation that rewards strategy and quick thinking.
Others have made note of the camera, but I almost feel like it adds to the game and the satisfaction of mastery. Although I do think that platforms blocking the camera should turn opaque.
Overall, my favourite one so far! I will be coming back to this and giving it a mention in the Discord server!
Thank you so much for the feedback, I did get some feedback from my brother about the camera yesterday but I did not see the issue but obviously I should have listened haha 🤣
Well it clearly hasn't had much of an impact considering I keep going back to it after each game I play lol
I thought that the game was very fun, if not a bit challenging at first, but I beg you to PLEASE CHANGE THE CAMERA!!! It felt very clunky trying to orient it so that I could actually see what I was doing! Despite this I still had a great time and think you did a great job! Please check out my game if you get the chance
Thank you so much for the feedback, just to expand would a camera controlled by the mouse have been better? I was thinking about implementing something like that towards the end but opted not too would like to know just so I don't make the same mistake going forward :) I will rating loads tomorrow evening so should get round to doing your too thank you.
