I really like the art and design of the Character sheet but it would be cool if it was available in ISO 216 sizes. Does anyone know how well the various character sheets work when printing using non US-sized paper? Is there something i should be mindful of when printing using A5 paper for example?

No idea, but the PNGs are available and you can try whatever you like.
