The atmosphere is really nice in this one, the art is good too even though the character animations were wired at times, sometimes climbing felt a bit off to but overall it was a nice and short experience.
This game is okay in my opinion! I like the little story you gave it and the snow effect was really nice to see! There's a bunch of things that could use some work though!
But i saw the gameplay and i think it's overall a good enough game, needs more work on those aspects but of course you still did good man :D
I didn't like the horror aspect and the light was pretty buggy, but otherwise I t was a decent game and a unique one
rated thanks, nice work
The graphics are very good, the gameplay style is very engaging even though I'm not a fan of horror or mystery games, the music gives me chills hahaha, there's only one thing I would improve: the game's progression is too repetitive, nothing very significant, just a few elements here and there to avoid feeling like you're going through the same place over and over again. I enjoyed this game
If you have time, could you try my game too? It was made entirely on mobile by one person
You captured the atmosphere perfectly. Top marks for the sound. The main character's animation is weird, but that didn't bother me as much as the lack of checkpoints, which made it frustrating. Overall, a good game with an even better atmosphere.
I really liked the atmosphere, the movement feels good, and you need to pay close attention not to lose, since being such a dark environment makes it hard to spot the traps sometimes. But that’s actually nice because it adds extra challenge and keeps the player focused.
It was such an adventure. I actually liked the game though I am usually not into horror stuff, but this was good it wasn't really horror though. And btw the atmosphere of the game is good and infact the level design is also good, the only thing that felt weird was player's animation. It could've been better, but overall it is a nice game and the ending was also amazing, I find this game to be really awesome. Great Work! and the snowfall effect and parallax effect on the mountain was also good.
I'm psychologically scarred for life, just like my wife. I'm boutta take a flight, to dwight ('s house)
The audio is really good, you nailed the pyschological horror vibe.
Thank you!
The movement is honestly really good! I really liked how the jumping felt! There was clearly some real effort put into it.
The game did become quite repetitive fast however, and the lack of checkpoints was frustrating. I did notice a lot of audio glitches, but nothing serious.
Overall, a really good job guys! I look forward to seeing you in future jams.
Thank you very much!
there was some effort put into the atmosphere, but other than the menu the game isn't very appealing visually and the gameplay gets a bit boring after a while. The snowstorm pushing you back is a nice touch. It would have been nice to have volume settings!
The message seems pretty bleak, I hope the dev is alright!
I completely agree with you that the game may seem complicated, which is why it starts to get boring over time.
You can also watch a short video of the game progressing to the end, the link to the video is on the game page
This was cool! I can tell a lot of thought went into putting this together, the audio is well done.
I think my main complaint is that while I don't have a problem with the speed of the character, the lack of checkpoints hurt a lot when I was near the top and thought I saw a secret platform to grab, and fell to my death. Suddenly that thematic slow climb up the mountain because very tedious.
I know this may not be a popular opinion, but I gave 4 stars on art.
The reason is because the use of the headlight is underrated and the snow effect is INCREDIBLE. I wanted to do something like that for my game but didn't have enough time.
Great work!
Thank you so much!
Stuck on the slippery platforms or spikes? Check out the full 3.5-minute gameplay walkthrough video below to see the shocking finale!
The game has an amazing intro and menu, but the platforming feels janky. Every time I died to a spike it was really annoying having to restart back to the main menu.
Allready fix it!
The game has a good menu and music, but once you get to the game the graphics start to feel a bit lacking, and physics feel quite questionable, the light gets really glitchy in random places, and you have to wait uncomfortably long in the menu for play to appear, every single time you die. Although the pixel art style fits the game pretty well, and when the game does deliver the good graphics, its pretty good graphics. Hope this helps
