Fun game! Good loop of avoiding attacks and charging. Really liked the music and SFX.

Took me a run to realize you had to sit on tiles to charge them, but the animation made it clear once I moved on top of them.

This game was fun, and the artsytle was really funny, I can tell you made the gameplay before the art because some aspects of the game are super polished, and some are like stick figures XD

Hi, I just voted and forgot to comment.

Congrats on your submission, your game is fun and well executed.

Loved the mechanics.

I found the game really fun. I noticed how simple art does not get in the way of the experience when the mechanics have an enjoyable concept behind them.

I felt a little confused about some of the effects that could be collected during the battle. Probably, after playing a few more runs, it would become easier to understand. If you think it makes sense, maybe it would be worth considering a short optional tutorial as the first battle, just showing the first cycle of the mechanics. :)

Congratulations on the work!

Really fun, funny cartoon visuals and fits well with the theme. Good work!

Very nice game. I don’t have much to criticize. It feels polished and is genuinely fun to play. My only issue is the lack of a tutorial, which made it a bit too difficult to understand how everything works at first. I’d suggest adding an how to play section on the itch.io page as a temporary solution.
P.s I really loved the art style. With a bit more polish, I can easily see this matching the quality of a full original release.
Good job 👍👍

The idea is very well executed, and the art style feels very personal and fun. I’d love to see more variety in the attacks, but it’s still really fun. Great work!

Love the rough drawing art style of it! Really made it feel human and cozy. And it did stick to the them and I have to fight as the boss so good job! My only criticism is that there was not really much buildup of the enemies they just stay the same. But great game enjoyed playing it!

The art style is niche and nicely done. i wish i could have more attack to reach the enemies too only meteor itself is not enough for my opinion i love how silly the boss look i have much fun playing this

Well done !

Thanks for playing. Articulating all the game mechanics without text is difficult so having some go over players heads is a rough given.

That said, with enough upgrades, your monster bite can hit anything!

The art style is really charming and excellently done. At first I thought it looked amateurish, but once in game I understood the vision. I think your cover art actually undermines the quality of your game's art, but overall I had fun, it was an intuitive game to play, and the sfx/music all felt like they worked together very well.

It's a beautiful game, and I loved the graphics and sound effects; they're very well-integrated. Overall, it would have been better if you had added more attacks for the boss, since he is, after all, a boss.

Thanks for playing.
We thought about having multiple attacks but then we realised bosses need to charge up before they attack! Hence the attack tiles.

Oh, sorry, I didn't notice that those squares were for charging attacks. I thought they were upgrades or something. I need to re rate the game.
