I loved the concept, which is really fun and innovative. Keep it up!
I love the art, and the fact that the players learn more about you as you play is awesome, however, the lack of intensity and music kinda makes it feel more like a puzzle and less like a boss.
Hi, I'm Acuristic. Here's some feedback on your game:
Things I like:
Things that need more polish:
But other than these stuff, the game is quite fun, and the controls are so simple that I didnt even need a tutorial to understand them, Really good game!
Thank you for your review and suggestions.
Regarding the issue you mentioned, after killing the player multiple times, they evolve and become impossible to kill in that way.
Since you asked how the player evolves, simply put, each time you kill them, they gain an ability, such as jumping, increased speed, dashing, escaping, etc.
wow, I didn't even know they jumped too, good job!
Wow, less is very much more!
I find this one of the most fitting games of the jam that want for the "you are actually the boss"
Could there have been more depth, sure. but for 2 days only this game is very hard to critique!
Very good job! 👍
Small game but was novel and interesting. Visuals were cool and I liked the animations for the little player. Was a bit hard to tell what to do at first but overall fun game.
Short game, but funny. Liked the visuals and the simple controls. Good work!
It's fun and the controls really well implemented. Congrats!
Impressive work for 8 hours, really liked that enemies learn, at first, I didn't quite understand why would i need more than 1 part, was surprised when the guys started rolling and jumping. Really fun idea and implementation of it.
like that there was some variety of enemy but if there was indication that it was coming would help with player retention.
Hi, I really liked your game!
The AI enemy behavior was surprisingly fun and created a great challenge during the gameplay.
I think that if you spent more time on this, you can have a full released game not only a game for a jam.
Great job overall, and congrats on the submission!
This is a really fun idea!
This is a really cool concept! I love that the player seems to actually learn and get better. Really impressive game for only 8 hours dev time.
Great game! This is a simple idea but very well executed. Being developed in only 8 hours but having a full core loop is super impressive. I loved how the enemy actually learnt from what you did and came back smarter each time. That was pretty cool. I couldn't figure out how to defeat the enemy with a bounce pad on his head though. Maybe being a bit more clear on that would've helped, but other than that its a solid game jam entry so good job :D
It really feels like the player's AI learns from you — it ends up becoming a challenge. I think the idea is very well implemented. Great job!
