The idea of having everything centered around a multimeter is very clever, and the menu immediately caught my attention. It's one of those details that gives the game a lot of personality right from the start.
I also liked the overall presentation and atmosphere. The town feels charming, and the electrician theme is a fun and original take on the jam theme.
Great work, and congratulations on the submission!
Plays well with the gamepad. Nice entry
Thank you! Yes, I code it with game controller in mind at first. I added keyboard and mouse after.
Thank you for trying!
The menu and the town was cute designed, but running around just checking all boxes without directions felt a bit... aimless. We always got the pipe minigame (I think about 5 times in a row) and the fuse was so short, I think it is impossible to beat. Interesting premise but needs some finetuning 🙂
Yes, the boxes need a more logical naming as well as a navigation system. I don't want something extradiegetic, I think I'll put some town maps scattered around. There's also a buzz sound to indicate which box is currently in need of fixing, but it can't be heared from far enough.
Thank you for trying our game!
The footsteps are a bit loud and I was having a hard time finding the next mission and then didn't realize it was timed so failed but then the spaghetti wiring that resulted afterwards? Picasso.
Pretty fun but was a bit frustrating to find the next job, still given it's a jam game and all the restrictions that go with it, it was pretty good and fun :)
Thank you for the feedback. Yes someone already mentionned the footsteps being too loud. I don't if I could fix it during the voting period, as I don't think it's really a bug fix so I let it as is. Finding the missions is indeed the second most difficult part of the prototype without a navigation system; the first most difficult being the wiring minigame.
Thank you for trying!
The town looks very good, and walking around works well! I like the electrician theme.
At first, I didn't know what I was supposed to do. I was looking for a person named Carmen, but I couldn't find any people and I couldn't go inside the buildings. 😆
The tetris game works well, but I'm not sure if I "won" or not. It just ended after a while.
The pipe-connect game always ends in less than 5 seconds. I don't even get a chance to figure out what keys I need to press. I think it needs some instructions.
I played quite a few mini games (around 7) but I never saw the report screen shown in your screenshot. It also doesn't show the "Missions Left" in the corner. Maybe the web build is a bit different?
Thank you! Yes, the missions left has been removed from the UI, there is 11 missions I think in the test level.
Both minigames require instructions, the Tetris one is a bit twisted (you need to make a line at the lightning level to win), and the wiring game is not clear enough as is. Sometimes you can also get kicked out of a minigame because the mission timed out, but as I hid the pager, it's not shown, which was a pretty bad idea of mine. I'll let the pager always visible in the future.
Thank you for trying our game!
This is a very nice game, and I especially like the menu, it is really well designed. The camera movement is not quite as smooth as it should be yet. The Tetris mini-game in the electrical box is also very well implemented.
Overall, I think this is a great achievement. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much! Yes, I hope to implement a better 3rd person control, with a camera orbiting around the character. The menu seems to be the most appreciated feature, once again :D
Thank you for trying our game :)
Loved the concept of running around fixing electrical problems! It was a bit confusing to find the problem boxes at first (I didn't realize the name popped up when you got close and thought there would be something visual you would notice from a distance). Other than that, I thought this was great. Nice work!
Thank you! Yes the navigation is the main issue, I put a buzz sound when one approaches the problem box, but it can't be heard from far enough.
Thank you for trying our game :)
Very interesting game. I really liked the mechanics and gameplay. Graphics and art work is really good. The only issue I had was with camera rotation. I wasn't able to move the camera right sometimes. I have to do a 360 degrees left on the camera to move right.
Thank you! Yes the camera rotation is a known issue for the web built, everytime the mouse leaves the game viewport, the game receives no more mouse input.
Thank you for the feedback!
The puzzles were confusing at first, the running around was funny when i found out the sprint button.
The tetris minigame looked like the one i made for this jam!
The menu with the multimeter was the best! I loved it!
Yes, I played and rated it! I think yours is one of the first games from the entries I tried :D, played it right after Janna and Chris's live! I didn't leave a comment tho, sorry for that. The ratings were good if it can make it up for this oversight :D
Thank you for trying our game :)
Fun game ! The mouse mode was slightly annoying, I love the level design and overall construction of the small town. The player model of Godot is noticeable, Nice work!
Thank you! I'll try to fix the mouse issue, but we have a big todolist anyway :D
Thank you for trying our game !
There is a lot to like in this game. The meter display in the opening options was cool. The buzz when nearing the correct box was helpful. The wiring minigame was the toughest. It seems like those parts should be able to rotate.
Thank you for the game!
Thank you! I'm glad you appreciated and you found the buzz relevant! The wiring minigame is based on the older Pipemania/Pipe Dream game, where I don't recall the blocks could be rotated. I tried it before implementing it and I wasn't able to do so. But I agree, I think this would be more enjoyable with rotating parts, as other clones of this game genre did.

Having a multimeter as the menu is a cool idea. Like others directions to mini games could have been helpful. Peaceful ambient sound effects. Great job! :)
Thank you! Yes, my mind is a bit overwhelmed with ideas since the amount of feedback! I hope the solution I have in mind will be helpful, I would like to avoid extradiegetic informations. I wasn't intending to make a peaceful game at first, but the birds and the wind gave it a pretty chill ambiance. This should stay for the neighborhood level, but I'm not sure this will be the same for other levels I envision. I don't want to make a stressful game either, but I still have some ideas where the mood is not the same.
Thank you for giving our game a try :)
I'm not sure what's going wrong on the mini-games for me. It seems as soon as I place one of the wire pieces it's starting off with the fuse-like effect and zapping me out of the game. Tetris style started out alright but then the second time I saw it, it also gave that short-circuit buzz noise and closed the panel for me.
I think this is because the missions timed out, but I had the how-so wrong idea to hide the pager when playing the minigames… This is something I intend to fix too after the game jam. I'm starting to have a long todo list :D
Thank you for playing our game :)
Nice game, I took me quite a time to find the place for the mission
Thank you! Yes, the navigation seems to be the most infuriating part by the comments. (as well as the not-tetris-minigame)
Thank you for trying!
Love the menu, I wanted to do something similar but didn't have time. Fun game =) it could become a full game with a bit of polish
Thank you! We will polish it after the game jam, indeed we will try to make a full game of it at the end.
Thank you for trying it
The menu was super polished and cool. I enjoyed the mini-games within the game. That's pretty insane for a 1-week jam, you all did a great job of pulling off a fairly big scope in a short amount of time in my opinion.
Thank you! Yeah, the menu seems to be the most appreciated part, I got it :D I'll do my best to make the rest of the game as enjoyable as the UI x)
We had a blast working on this, it's our first game jam, I tried to keep the scope as small as possible, I was unsure the minigames would be doable as well as the 3D gameplay, in the same time I was aiming for 4 minigames for the game jam and was a bit disappointed to only make 2 of them.
Thank you for playing and for your feedback!
mini games within a game in a game jam is mad impressive. with enough time to polish this could be a whole casual game.
Thank you! It's our first game jam (and our first game), I knew we had to keep the scope small, and I though 4 minigames in the 3D game was small enough, how wrong I was :D I'm still glad I managed to put 2 of them.
Thank you for trying our game!
Nice execution and fun to have the minigames within for each of the tasks! Well done
This was a well put together game and like others have said, a bit of polish is all that's needed. I could never figure out the Tetris clone...was I trying to bridge the one line between the two lightning symbols? The menu system was really neat.
Thank you! I would like to implement more minigames as well as other features I have in mind before calling it done :) (like adding instructions for the minigames) Yes, you have to bridge the two lightning symbols in the Tetris clone. I liked the idea to fight our gamer impulse when playing Tetris, having to create structure with holes just to get to the correct height :D it's a bit sadistic…maybe?
