No web build?  I'm not on windows so I can't play, but it looks fun! 😎

Hi Mush, Sorry, but when I tried the web build the music tracks got out of sync almost instantly.  No good for a Musical Puzzle game.  Not sure how to fix that so needed to build for Win.   Thanks for the taking a look though.

No worries. 🙂

Please check out the V2 build.  It has a timer and cancel so you can backtrack on selected lines.  Otherwise same as V1.

Impressive feat of getting matching sound samples that loop perfectly, and harmonize eachother well. The gameplay is not very challenging but so either a free jamming mode would be nice or something that makes it a little more rewarding to actually complete a pattern or music track.

Developer

Hey thanks.  And as for the game play when I make it harder a friend of mind didn't like it that much.  So I decided to lean in to the music creation side.   I have since added a timer for a little more tension, but it appears I can't update my build for the jam.

As for adding more rewarding play I was thinking of adding a Song creation mode... again though that is something down the road as well.
Thanks for the thoughts though!

This is a interesting idea. I liked listening to the music build up. Would have been nice if before releasing you could undo part or all of a connections if you change your mind or slip up. The gameplay could use a fail state it currently felt like you could just keep selecting any combination without any drawback.

Developer

Actually I've added a cancel/go back so you can completely deselect which is nice.   Also I added a timer for a little more match tension.  I've tried to update, but can't seem too for the jam.  So maybe I will add that after.  Thanks for the feedback.

This is so much fun, thank you.

Would like to see you do more with it.

Developer

Thanks so much.  I hope to.  We'll see.

Beautiful work and great gameplay. Love the design!

Wow! I love this. Just one thing, it would be nice if you could cancel a selection. Sometimes I accidentally connect the wrong nodes and would like to be able to undo it.

Developer

Yeah was just thinking about the same thing.  Will do!  Thanks!

This looks awesome O.O but I'm currently running on Linux so I can't play it :( is there any chance you could make a web build for this so it's playable in the browser? It looks like a really good game though.

I built a web version has lots of audio issues.  The tracks get out of sync which is a bummer.  I and try and build a Linux version and upload,  Maybe you can try it and let me know if it works.  I will try tomorrow.  Thanks for the interest eitherway.

That would be amazing :) I'll keep an eye out for it and will give it a go if you manage to compile a Linux version :)

interesting, game looks good, nice sounds. I beat all levels in 3 min, but I am not sure how I could lose and why did I win :P.

Developer

Hey Lukasz, I was planning to add a timer, but ran out of time.  So yeah.  You really can't fail right now... But in the end it a music mixing / puzzle game so that kinda works for now if that makes sense.

Interesting game! I do not understand music terminology but I was able to play through it and enjoyed listening to the beats. Also for the linux users I was able to complete the game on debian with base wine so it should work for you.

Interesting point of view on music games.

Great music, loved it. I have played similar games but I like how you visualized it, and how 'reactive' it feels.
