Interesting idea!

an upgraded tetris. the start menu could have had a background music but that and the game itself is well put together. the player would easily miss a grid on the table as it is not trivial where exactly the piece will land when it is all the way up and the player presses space. the development of the game is ai assisted in multiple ways, but not a slop - just a good unity game. the explosion effect is satisfying.

thx , and very well put. also the main menu is aesthetically not pleasing. ^^

This was a really cool way to interpret the theme. It was really satisfying when the circuits would connect nad start making that buzzing noise.

Developer

thx :)

Such a cool idea for a tetris game! I'm awful at tetris so I can't give much more feedback than that haha

Developer

thx a lot :)

Got so many in a row without a battery that it basically ruined everything! :V

But a great twist on Tetris!

Developer(+1)

Haha, I feel you. Had that before too. Batteries spawn by chance.

Thx for playing and the feedback. 👍🏻

I think everything looks and sounds good. Took a moment but figured out how to play I think. It doesn't seem like color matters, only connections (could be wrong on this), just connect two power sources to same circuit blows up the circuit.  Works well. I think it just needs to be messed with more to feel fun.

Right now, I can easily just keep making small connections and keep blowing them up, If you move things wrong, there is no way to get out of it, so maybe some mechanic that lets you remove wires like wire cutters or something.

Great job, so far I think it is one of the most polished games I have seen so far.

thx for your feedback.
Indeed, theres potential for other playstyles with other pieces. For the start i wanted to do it minimal, but working and "complete". Didnt have the time to put everything in. ^^

Wrongly placed pieces blocking the board, is intentional. Part of the puzzle experience. Need to think ahead, how to "store" pieces that doesnt fit. this, as well as the gradually increasing speed, are part of the difficulty.

I'm still confused about the mechanics of the game and if I did anything right or everything wrong... But still had fun testing it. ^^ Nice sumbission

I'm happy you had fun, but sorry to hear there was confusion. I added more description in text and picture.

Pretty surprising the first time I did what I supposed to! 😂 But then it clicked. Nice take on the classic formula

Developer

Thanks for your feedback and that you enjoyed it. :)
Gonna consider adding a mini-manual to it.

Just a heads up the Itchio game window is smaller than the game itself so its hard to see the full game.

Developer (1 edit)

Thx mate. Suggestions on a quick fix?
Edit: Should be good now. Switched auto-detect on the size. Working now.
