I liked it, just a small click tutorial would be great :)

fun lil strategy game. took me some time to figure out shade mechanics. but it seems well balanced. gg. nice bgm, sound effects, breathing animations. game feels very much alive.

i really enjoyed playing this game, the concept of reviving the forest is a nice one. The mechanics really satisfying to play

It took me a while to figure out that you had to build a path towards a tree to revive it and place a mushroom under it to start producing spores. It's a beautiful concept and I had fun playing it. Great job!

Developer

Thank you for playing. I'm glad that you were able to figure it out.

It's a fun little game, and I really like it. The UI could have gotten some more love (Icons for the resources, upgrade window staying inside the viewport). But that's nothing too important for a game jam. Good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Resource icons definitely would have been a nice addition if I had more time.

Superb job, well done - super relaxing and fun to play, I got lost in upgrading everything and didn't realise I'd went well past the win condition :D.

Developer

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I definitely lost a bit of time during the jam just filling up the whole forest with plants while playtesting.

I liked the concept and understood this thing about removing mycelia, putting in other place. I was a bit confused because I didn't know where to put my mushroom because couldn't recognize a place with shade from other without, and the one which you start with wasn't producing spores so I got a little softlocked. But I can see there's something beneath. Good work

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to include a tutorial but ran out of time. You need to revive the trees in order to create shade for the mushrooms.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and art style of the game! The forest setting feels cozy and mysterious at the same time, and while the visuals are fairly simple, they work very well together and create a pleasant mood.

I also liked the relaxing music and the unusual gameplay mechanic — they give the project its own unique charm. Great work!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed the visuals. I keep telling myself that one day I'll spend more time learning about Krita but I always seem to forget until I need to whip up a few quick sprites for a project like this.

Relaxing and satisfying “grow the network” concept with a cool core idea. A bit confusing at the start, so a small tutorial would help a lot, but overall a solid and fun jam entry once it clicks!

Developer

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I wanted to include a tutorial but ended up running out of time.

It’s a fun game, but I had a hard time figuring out how to get spores or plant the mushroom card at first. I ended up checking the comments and realized you need to spread to trees first so they create shade for mushrooms to grow. I think adding a small tutorial or hint early on would help a lot! Nice work!

Developer

Thank you for playing. I did originally want to include a tutorial to ease confusion but ended up running out of time.

Nice work! Great fun once I figured out the spores. Number go up tickled my lizard brain just right 👌

Developer

Thank you for playing. Number go up is exactly what I was aiming for.

Was pretty fun, had trouble figuring out how to get spores, the original mushroom was similar to the mushroom card I thought they both could produce spores, but I figured it out and beat the game in 2 min, will be back to get a shorter time.

Developer

Thank you for playing, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. I was original aiming to balance for about a 5 minute playtime but it usually ends up being a bit quicker once people figure out the spores

Hello,

It was a little hard to understand how it worked, the info window didn't help much, but I figured out some things, seems like a relaxing game, the music reminded me of old mmorpgs I've played, I liked it, I think a small tutorial with just some basic info would do nice for this game, once I figured it out I've played for a while and I kinda liked it, the graphics are okayish, for this game it's certainly good enough, good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing. I wanted to include a tutorial but ended up running out of time.

looked neat, i couldn't figure out how to grow a mushroom or get spores. it looked like the mushroom was creating spores? wasnt sure. a tutorial or more description wouldn't hurt.

edit: nevermind, we figured it out. for anyone wondering, you need to spread to a tree and then "restore" the tree. that produces shade from which you can plant mushrooms for spores.

would like to see more levels!

Developer

I'm glad you were able to figure it out. It seems to be a common confusion. One of the issues of not having anyone playtest before I submitted.

Nice game! It's a clever idea and it was fun to see my network grow. The mechanics were a bit confusing, I couldn't figure out how to place the second mushroom.

Developer

Thank you for playing. Watching all the network get bigger is my favorite part. I planned to include an actual tutorial but ran out of time
